23.01.2022 The NSW Young Lawyers Human Rights Committee has been awarded the Australian Young Lawyer Organisation Award by the Law Council of Australia for our program, ‘Addressing Sexual Harassment in Australian Legal Workplaces’. A highlight of this program was providing Sexual Harassment Bystander Intervention Training to more than 200 participants on how to identify sexual harassment and intervene to stop it. You can show your commitment to ending sexual harassment in the law by ...posting the #ActiveBystanderPledge with our tile on your social media accounts. Congratulations also to the Law Institute of Victoria’s Young Lawyers, who were joint winners of the award for their program, ‘Physically Distant, Professionally Close: How to Thrive in a Virtual World’.
