There's a joy of writing a letter, instead of typing, texting, snapchatting, and there's even more of a response from those that receive them. I would really like to challenge YOU to write a letter to someone today. It might be to Grandma, Uncle, a friend, or maybe that friend who moved interstate a couple of years... ago. It might be someone you don't know but want to encourage or thank, like Hospital staff, or your neighbour down the street. ~ Kathryn

03.01.2022 Today I went on excursion with the Mini Vinnies students from Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School Wanguri NT. We met Heather from Vinnies NT and she spoke about how donations are sorted, priced and sold. We then went upstairs to meet some of the employees of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and also heat about the Founders. I then went out to MacKillop Catholic College Palmerston NT, where the ACTS* team had baked cupcakes and were raising money for those in year 12 in need o...f some financial assistance to attend graduation. 02.01.2022 It was such a lovely day out at St Francis. Marraki and I joined the crocodile classroom who were tracing their hands and then drawing the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island flags on them. They will be put into a hand garden at the foot of Our Lady’s Shine. Kyal and Peter joined the high schoolers and Gee and Elise went with the younger ones. It was beautiful to see the whole school get together for the Sorry Day painting.
