25.01.2022 It is now a requirement of the NT Government that all individuals that are at the club for greater than 15 minutes must have their attendance recorded. There a...re 3 ways that the club will be recording that you have been there. 1. Sign the visitor's book - This is used for the "Come and Try" and visitors to the club. This practice will continue, as these participants need to be recorded for insurance purposes. 2. Competition book - When we hold a competition your details are recorded in the competition book. 3. NT Government Q code - if you are not competing or not signing the visitor's book and are just socialising at the club you will need to scan the Q code. These are in various locations around the club. The Q code also lets you record individuals that are with you. Let's look at a few things- If you come to practice on a Wednesday night and you're a club member you will therefore need to scan the Q code and record that you have been there. If you attend the club and your child/partner is practising and you are just shooting the breeze you will need to scan the Q code. Please be aware: If there is a case of community transmission and contact has been at the club it is a requirement that the club hand over the visitor's book and the competition records to the NT Health Department. These measures are put in place to protect us all and are a part of the conditions for the club to remain open. Please do not put your club at risk by not recording your attendance. We appreciate your assistance in following the "new normal". DCTC Committee
