24.01.2022 Our volunteers are down at the markets come down and say hi to them.



23.01.2022 Tomorrow night the brigade is holding a naming ceremony for our new shed. The shed will be named after a family of members who have made a significant contribution to the brigade over the years. The invite is open to any that want to attend and food will be provided. 1830 start at the volunteer station. Cnr Ross Highway and Stegar Road.

23.01.2022 Happy Saturday everyone. We will be at the Bushfire Relief Fundraiser tonight in the Todd Mall from 5-9pm. Come down to support all those affected by the fires interstate and meet some of our local volunteers.

21.01.2022 Hi all. Our shed is finished being built! Awesome work by the Edifice Nt crew and also the crew from Coldzap Refrigeration & Electrical who have finished wiring up the new lights and power points inside.

17.01.2022 Tonight, 4 members of our brigade received commendations from NSW for their commitment in serving interstate for the 2019/2020 bushfire season. Well done to those involved!

16.01.2022 COVID-19 may have cancelled our trainings but the tradies are still hard at work building our new shed. Watch this space for updates and the opening!



16.01.2022 We have taken steps as a brigade to do our part in flattening the curve of COVID-19. As a result we have suspended weekly trainings until further notice. We will still be responding to emergency calls within our community.

15.01.2022 A big thanks to the Northern Territory Government's Communit Benefit Fund grant that assisted us in building a veranda onto our meeting room. This veranda provides much needed shade for the area to keep our hard working volunteers cool in the hot sun!

14.01.2022 We wish to thank St John Ambulance Volunteers for joining us at our station tonight for some exercises and tour of the appliances. A fun night had by all.

14.01.2022 Wednesday night the Brigade joined the St John Ambulance Volunteers for a joint training session. St John Volunteers passed on their knowledge on Ambulance equipment as well as tested our knowledge on CPR.

12.01.2022 Last night the members attended Wanngardi Caravan Park to familiarise with and test out the fire trailer on site. The members gained a greater understanding of the capabilities the community holds in the fringe areas of Alice Springs and commend Dash and his team on the terrific upkeep of the trailer.

03.01.2022 Tonight the Brigade assisted Bushfires NT to perform a hazard reduction burn behind the racecourse. These burns are important to manage the fuel load around the River Gums.
