21.01.2022 This week we are off to Jabiru in the heart of Kakadu National Park Thanks to the members at Jabiru Police Station for their assistance. Jabiru Township is located 250 Km’s SE of Darwin in the heart of Kakadu National Park which is Aboriginal Land leased by the Commonwealth Government. 15.01.2022 FLASH BACK FRIDAY!!! This little beauty was taken in early 1978 on the first day NT Policewomen were allowed to wear uniform! It was also the first year that women began working in General Duties. The uniform options grew from a dress to a skirt, then culottes before changing over to a similar version of the khaki uniform worn by male officers in 1987. ... Standing in the back row on the far right is retired Sergeant Debbie Horrocks. Debbie commenced as a Recruit Constable in 1977 and was the first Policewomen in the Northern Territory to graduate in uniform, having commenced in plain clothes. Debbie proudly wore it for almost 36 years, retiring in 2013 after serving in many roles across the Agency.

12.01.2022 Join us to celebrate the graduation ceremony for Recruit Constable Squad 140.
