25.01.2022 Major Crash investigators are investigating a serious traffic crash that occurred in WILLETTON on Friday 20 November 2020. About 7:55am a green Toyota Aurion sedan travelling east on Kielman Road collided with a red and silver Triumph motorcycle travelling west on Kielman Road at the uncontrolled intersection with Cavella Court. The rider of motorcycle, a man in his 60s, received serious injuries and was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital by ambulance.... The driver of the Toyota, a woman in her 60s, was not injured. Major Crash Investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash or may have seen the Toyota or the Triumph driving just prior to the crash. 22.01.2022 Cannington Detectives have charged a teenager with robbery after their investigation into an incident in Cannington on Friday, 28 August 2020. It will be alleged around 1pm the victim, a 15-year-old boy, and the teenager got off a train at Cannington Train Station and whilst walking along Sevenoaks Street, near the intersection of Cecil Avenue, the teenager threatened the boy and demanded his Nike shoes. As a result the teenager, an 18-year-old boy from Armadale was charged w...ith Robbery. He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court 23 September 2020. Detectives would like further witnesses to the incident to come forward, particularly anyone who may have dash-cam or phone footage. 11.01.2022 Cannington Detectives have charged a woman as part of their ongoing efforts to target high harm addresses focusing on drug dealing in the community. Detectives executed a search warrant on a house in Ashburton Street, Bentley on Thursday, 3 September 2020, during Operation Cravat. It will be alleged whilst searching the address detectives located 16 clip seal bags containing a total of 1.17 grams of methylamphetamine and $1715 cash hidden in a childs school bag.... Further inquiries are being conducted into the $15,395 cash located under a mattress in the master bedroom. A 46-year-old Bentley woman was charged with: Possession of a Prohibited Drug with Intent to Sell or Supply (Methylamphetamine), Possess a Prohibited Drug (Methylamphetamine) and, Possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property. She will appear in Perth Magistrates Court 18 September 2020.

10.01.2022 ** UPDATE ** Please be advised the 73yo man who was missing in the Victoria Park area today, Tuesday 8 September 2020, has been located safe and well. A member ...of the public contacted WA Police Force shortly after the urgent appeal was broadcast, advising they were with the man. Police attended and will reunite the man with his family. Several other possible sightings were also reported after the appeal was published/broadcast. WA Police Force thanks the community and the media for sharing the appeal and reporting possibly sightings.

08.01.2022 Cannington Detectives are investigating an assault that occurred in South Perth on Friday 18 September 2020. Around 7.40am the victim, a teenage girl, was standing on Angelo Street, between Anstey and Strickland Streets. A man approached her and engaged her in conversation before assaulting her. The man appears to have been in the area for some time before the victim arrived and had been sitting in a shopping trolley, talking to another person at the time.... Hes described as 35-45 years of age, approx. 165 cm tall, with a large build and brown hair. At the time he was wearing a long sleeve jumper and shorts. 07.01.2022 Regional Investigations Unit detectives with the assistance of Cannington Detectives have charged a man with numerous offences across several districts. The man was apprehended yesterday (16 November) after crashing a car in Welshpool that he allegedly stole two hours earlier from a 64- year- old man in Cloverdale. He was arrested after a short foot chase. The alleged offences occurred throughout October and November 2020 in Cannington, Cloverdale, East Victoria Park, South... Perth and Welshpool. It is alleged the man entered the South Perth home of a man in his 90s around 1.30am on Monday, 2 November 2020, stealing the victim’s phone, wallet and Mercedes Benz station wagon. A 23-year-old man from Kewdale has been charged with:- 2 x Steal Motor Vehicle; Steal Motor Vehicle and Drive Recklessly; Driver of a Vehicle Failed to Comply with a Direction to Stop (Circumstances of Aggravation); Reckless Driving to Escape Pursuit by Police; No Authority to Drive; Driver Fail to Stop (Property Damage); Give False Personal Details to Police; Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm; Stealing; 9 x Gains Benefit by Fraud; and 2 x Breach of Bail He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, 17 November 2020.

07.01.2022 Major Crash officers are investigating a serious crash that occurred on Saturday, 7 November 2020 in Welshpool. About 2.25pm, a red Mazda 3B hatchback and an or...ange Dodge Nitro collided at the intersection of Roe Highway and Welshpool Road East. The 69-year-old female driver of the Mazda received serious injuries in the crash and was conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital. The occupants of the Dodge were conveyed to hospital as a precaution but were not injured. Major Crash investigators wish to speak to anyone who saw the crash or the Mazda hatchback or the Dodge Nitro travelling in the area prior to the crash. 06.01.2022 Cannington Detectives have arrested a man after he allegedly destroyed a WA Police Jenoptik speed detection camera in Mosman Park last night, Wednesday 18 Novem...ber 2020. The camera was set up on Stirling Highway near Boundary Road when about 7.40pm it is alleged a Ford Focus hatchback travelled past the camera at speed, triggering the camera to flash as it took a photograph. It is alleged the man drove his vehicle back to where the camera was located and picked it up and smashed it into a tree several times. The camera broke sending components and debris onto the road surface. The camera’s lenses and finely calibrated speed measuring apparatus were destroyed rendering the camera inoperable. The damage to the camera is estimated at approximately $70,000. Cannington Detectives apprehended the man about 10.45pm last night at his Mosman Park home. He has been charged with Criminal Damage or Destruction of Property and is due to appear before the Fremantle Magistrates Court on 7 December 2020.
