22.01.2022 The NTWA Juniors program wrapped up early this term just to be careful. The upside is that our junior lifters now know how to clean really well. (You’re welcome, parents!) We had a mini comp and set some amazing PBs! These kids are getting stronger everyday! See you next term! Stay safe.

01.01.2022 We’re back in the gym!!!
01.01.2022 Hi lifters! We hope you are all super excited about getting back to your gyms starting from this Friday! To ensure that the reopening of gyms goes smoothly, it'...s essential that you follow all directions set by the Chief Health Officer and your gym/club. Maintain physical distancing (that's 1.5m - a full arm span is a good guide). Wash your hands regularly and sanitise your equipment before and after each session. Don't share equipment unless you have no other choice. This includes things like clips and collars, broom sticks, ab mats, skipping ropes, medicine balls/wall balls, dumbbells and kettlebells and any other equipment. If sharing, sanitise between uses. Don't share water bottles or towels and be mindful when accessing shared items like first aid kits. Don't touch your face! Avoid touching door handles, light switches and fans unless you have to. Consider using your shirt, a clean towel or a tissue/wipe if you need to. If you are unwell, please stay home and if you're concerned, arrange to be tested for COVID-19. Each gym will have their own specific procedures and requirements so make sure you take note of any signage or instruction from your coach. We all want to get back on the platform - and stay there - so following the rules will make that possible. We'll update you as information becomes available about the amended events calendar for 2020, including any interstate competitions that might be rescheduled. Stay safe!
