22.01.2022 I love the pictorials that seemed to be the mode for early vintage kits....This kit is a Ludwig circa 1920’s....So simple and all these early kits seemed to have such beautifully decorated bass drum heads....Note the skin dampener mechanism. Ludwig pioneered so many innovations in drum technology...Tidy work Bill & Theo ;-)

19.01.2022 This is Moonshine Records all (vintage) RCA gear recording studio in Germany....Not your average facility. They can cut your content to either 78rpm or 33+13 rpm or they offer several flavors of magnetic tape! Happy Friday

08.01.2022 Meet the Collins 26U-2 Stereo Limiting Amplifier very rare, very sought after....These were the stereo versions in the Collins 26U. A variable-mu broadcast tube limiter circa early '60s....Collins also uses the revered 6386 tube, same as the Fairchild 670...If you can’t afford a Fairchild and let’s face it even if you could they just never come up for sale Consider the Collins not for the feint of wallet at $15k-ish...But you do get drop-dead-cool-looking for your coin along with serious audio trickeryAudio goes in bigger, lusher, creamier, wtf audio comes out
