20.01.2022 NAIDOC Week 2020 NAIDOC week celebrates the history and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and recognises their strong connection and contributions to community and country. The theme for this year, 2020 is Always was, Always will be and will be celebrated from the 8th to 15th November 2020. In celebrating NAIDOC 2020, Nudge spoke to Aaron Wilkes, Recycling Centre Operator Trainee with myTOMRA Kelmscott to hear what NAIDOC means to him.... 16.01.2022 Nudge congratulate Jayden Ugle, on his nomination in the WA Training Awards - Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year 2020! Jayden has been a fantastic achiever and role model throughout his traineeship, having attended a Nudge Work Readiness Training in early 2018. Soon after Jayden commenced a traineeship with employer DM Roads in July 2018, and in July 2020 he successfully completed a Certificate III in Civil Construction. Jayden has continued to flourish, learning a great deal through hard work, effort and his "can-do" attitude. Jayden is well supported by his employer, supervisors and team and also the entire team at Nudge. Well done Jayden - fantastic job mate!

15.01.2022 The Camfield in Burswood, played host to this year’s annual Nudge Sundowner & Training Awards in order to accommodate a growing list of attendees. Once again, it was a fantastic night celebrating the achievements of the past year, with over 110 people from 46 various organisations showing their support of Nudge. Bringing together people from many different organisations is what makes the event so unique. Members and directors of government agencies, executives and staff of pr...ivate contractors, Local Government council representatives, like-minded community organisation staff, as well as trainees from all over Western Australia gathered to show their support of Nudge and celebrate another successful year. Ross Holt Chair of the Nudge Board, welcomed all attendees and remarked that despite the year that has been, Nudge continued to work through the challenges and provide meaningful, committed and dedicated service to business partners and importantly, the trainees that Nudge support. Ross highlighted the Nudge retention rate 92% for past year as a key pillar in the success of the Nudge service model and achieving strong outcomes.
