24.01.2022 Since getting the job in the end of December 2020, we needed to wait for the border open to enter NSW to repair the broken arm of this life-size marble sculpture of Venus. Finally we made the trip and travelled over 400kms to the location - we drove through the end of the bitumen-sealed roads to dirt roads until seeing her standing in the oasis of this huge over 7000 hectare wheat farm in North Star NSW. It was a challenge mission, we've packed required tools and materials with intention to do the job in one visit. We completed the restoration in 4 hours, despite working around 37 under direct sunlight, we were so happy to kiss and say good bye to this beautiful lady #marblerestoration #restorationservices #fineartsrestoration #nudgeerdantiquecentre

I believe that we've been given a great advantage in observing countries better prepared than ours tackle this challenge. We have been given a gift of foresight. It would be a great waste not to take responsible action in the form of a lockdown. An inconvenience now may save us greater pain in the future. It... is quite important to note that social isolation is not disconnection. We will continue to improve ourselves and engage with the community as we can. 10.01.2022 Kevin has been attending this event over 40 years, only missed one on Y2018 when he had his open heart surgery. Most of the store holders know each other, they are good people and were so excited to catch up with old friends. The location was held in the paddy field near the Ballarat Airport, cow mamure everywhere, I tried to avoid them in the beginning, but had to give up just not looking at the ground. 07.01.2022 The Brickhouse Café has been underwent a renovation during the locked down period. Combined with Kevin's over fifty years antique restoration skills and Alexander's design. They transformed this classic mixed contemporary wall spaces inside the café. A job well done from using the recycled panels and the streng of father and son's bond. The café reopened on 11May. 05.01.2022 We combined business and leisure into a weekend getaway. Kevin knows every little towns and the history of the places; we traveled south from Warwick toward the fantastic fertile land and farming country. We stopped and ate whenever we felt like, an Esky fully packed with good and drinks was a success, we thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We were so lucky making the trip one week before the start of NSW floods. The dark clouds were hanging over our head on Saturday, we had a few drops of rain and were welcomed with double rainbows when arriving at Goondiwind. 03.01.2022 Peace on Earth and mercy mind. Following the rules of social distancing and self isolation, we locked ourselves at home and took extra cares to the garden. We are enjoying our garden that filled with wildlife, fruit trees, flowers, Buddha statues and the Big Rooster. Our hard work has been rewarded with tasty organic fruits and flowers in full bloom.
