01.01.2022 CANCELLATION OF REMAINING SWIM CLUB NIGHTS Hello Sharks and families. Sadly, like other sporting clubs at this time, we have decided to cancel the remaining swim club nights in light of the recommendations regarding the COVID-19 virus. Although we are not really meeting indoors, there are concerns around the kids being close to each other during marshalling, especially our younger cohort. This would be inconsistent with the current recommendation of social distancing.... Club Championships day planned for the 29th March is also highly unlikely to proceed at that time, unless there is a sudden change in recommendations and the spread of the virus. The committee will meet soon and look at the possibility of moving Club Championships to a later date. We will notify you as soon as we make that decision. We are sure this will be disappointing news for the children, as it is for us, after a fun season of swimming. We hope everybody stays healthy and will be back swimming at the club as soon as it is feasible. Please contact us if you have any queries. Kind regards, Sharks Swim Club Committee
