22.01.2022 I am a HUUUUUGE fan of keeping the spark alive with date days with my other half. We started the alphabet date system this year where we pop all the letters of the alphabet in a bowl and one of us will pick out a letter and surprise the other with a date based around that letter! We've had frisbee, foreshore and fish and chips for F date day; indoor go-karting for I date day and Zip lining for Z date day. Such a fun and simple twist on spending time with each other

19.01.2022 FEEL GOOD FRIDAY It's good to see there are kids like this out in the world! Three kids found a wallet full of $700. Instead of hitting the shops, they found his address and returned the wallet! The gentleman wasn't home but he had security cameras installed where you could leave a recorded message. The kids left a message telling the man they'd found his wallet and will hide it on his property so it doesn't get taken. ... Well done kids!!

04.01.2022 I don't know about you all but I love hearing feel good stories from around the globe as sometimes the news only seems to focus on the negatives! So from tomorrow I am doing FEEL GOOD FRIDAY and posting some feel good stories to get the weekend started on a positive note!

03.01.2022 FEEL GOOD FRIDAY Amazing story about an 18 year old who has done a small yet hugely powerful act that has so far saved at least SIX lives through suicide prevention!! Paige wrote short inspiring notes and tied them to the Wearmouth Bridge in England for those to read who are feeling vulnerable and fragile. ... Paige has been given an award from her local Police force commending this wonderful act of kindness! You never know what kind of day/week/month somebody is having so BE KIND to one another! 03.01.2022 ATTENTION PEANUT BUTTER LOVERS Peanut Butter Chia Cups! 1/4 cup chia seeds... 2 cups milk (coconut or almond are yum) 2 tbs peanut butter Place chia seeds in a medium bowl and pour over 1/4 cup milk. Stir to combine. Add remaining milk and peanut butter to a small saucepan and whisk until combined. Pour over chia seeds and whisk together. Let sit for 5 minutes then give another whisk to separate any chia chunks. Pour into 3 small bowls (I used jars as I take these into the office) and store in fridge overnight. Top with yogurt, berries or crushed peanuts - yum! These will keep for up to 5 days so are perfect to make a big batch for the week ahead!

03.01.2022 The kids and I made the broccomole (guacamole with broccoli ) and it's delicious! Simple way to boost nutrients in a super tasty recipe! We teamed it with the seed crackers from last weeks post which was a perfect combination!

02.01.2022 FEEL GOOD FRIDAY!! This little girl left her bunny at the shops and was heartbroken! Her mum called the store and the manager revisited security cameras and saw that the bunny was left in a shopping trolley while mum packed the car. Unfortunately when the bunny was found, it was thrown in the bin and sent to landfill! Not wanting to give up, the manager and two of his employees went to the landfill and searched for her bunny and guess what... they found it!! The bunny wa...s in a state so the manager washed the bunny three times and returned it to the mum! What a champ!! Pay it forward everybody, we need more stories like this!!
