Stop... your frantic google searches. Take a deep breath. Everything you need is already within. You are held by the great mother of us all. Her gentle winds carry your breath. Her sacred waters flow through you - cleansing tears and holy milk. Her power pulses through your veins. You are softness and strength. The universe dancing in ecstatic motion, galactical stardust in a tender, tired body. You nourish a new beginning, born into the infinite web of life, ancient wisdom coded into every perfect cell. You are mama nature and she is you. . If you peeped my stories a few days ago, you may remember that some curious toddler hands got hold of a pen and scribbled on some of my artwork. At first I was frustrated, because this piece was almost done and I have so little time to create right now that every piece feels like a major accomplishment. But a few deep breaths looking into those sparkly little toddler eyes reminded me that this is what it’s all about. Perfect imperfections. Mess and chaos and the divine flow of it all. Impermanence and unattachment. Creating in those rare precious moments alone- only to have it all be destroyed by spilled tea and sticky hands and my artistic assistant’s obsession with permanent markers . In the end, those pen lines scratched down the center of the page turned into the perfect lighting strikes to complete the piece - and my spiritual lesson of the week See more

A six week check up with a tick box mental health assessment is not good enough. Physical & Psychological Trauma is real & it’s my guess that it’s even more common than the statistics will ever reflect - there are many complex reasons as to why a woman or man will choose not to talk about this - I know - I am one of them - my story is complex & has serious implications for others. Meaning public sharing is not an option for me If this is you I sincerely want you to know that you are felt, you are held & when you are ready you can choose to privately share your story with a trained professional- that your story is held in confidence - that it is safe. Psychologists, Counsellors, Hypnotherapists, Kinesiologists are some of the options available to you. Please find someone who’s specialty is Birth.
