16.01.2022 "Children who truly have ADHD are some of the most creative and innovative people alive, but instead of focusing on what is going on inside their brain, we focu...s on what we see outside their brain. We focus on their behaviors. We worry about what others think. We worry about the schools they will not get into. We worry that they will end up failing. But here is the irony, while we are worrying about their failure we have already set them up to fail." Thank you, Susie Garlick of At the Parenting Place, for sharing these thoughts on ADHD with our TODAY #ParentingTeam!

The poll targets parents and carers of children aged under 18 years as well as Health services, organisations and groups. This poll revealed that (95%) Aussie kids aren’t getting enough vegetables in their diet, and many parents believe fruit drinks may be healthier than water, with a further third (29%) of parents incorrectly believing children may need sports drinks to recover from regular physical activity. Kids are receiving too many treat foods, with almost half (41%) of pre-schoolers receiving treat foods most days of the week.
