19.01.2022 These chocolate dipped banana tops are the perfect healthy treat, designed to quench those sugar cravings and get the kids involved in the kitchen as they are super easy to make! Thanks to our friends at @bakeateasy for sharing! RECIPE: Peel 3 ripe bananas and slice in half, insert a popsicle stick into each end and place on a lined baking tray and freeze for approx 2 hours.... Melt the chocolate (milk, dark, white or vegan chocolate) in a double boiler over the stove or in the microwave. Dip the frozen banana into the melted chocolate and place back onto the lines baking tray. Decorate with your desired toppings white the chocolate is still wet (crushed peanuts, goji berries or even chocolate chips, smarties...the list is endless) Once decorated place back into the freezer to set and ENJOY! You can even make a SpOoKy version for this upcoming Halloween! See more

19.01.2022 Smoothie bowls and breakfast toppings are certainly becoming a popular breakfast option, especially now during the holiday season! @thenourishedchef has created this MACADAMIA AND COCONUT NICE-CREAM using our Australian Macadamia Nuts, Chia Seeds and Coconut (Flaked and Desiccated) It’s Gluten Free, Refined Sugar Free and tastes delicious. Gluten Free Vegan Dairy Free... INGREDIENTS: Serves 2 2 Frozen Bananas 1.5 Cup Frozen Mango 1/3 Cup Macadamias 1/3 Cup Coconut Cream 1/4 Cup Almond Milk TO SERVE: Chia Seeds Coconut Flakes Finely Desiccated Coconut Frozen Blueberries METHOD: Blend all ingredients using a Vitamix or powerful high speed blender into an ice cream consistency( Make sure to use your tamper, pushing the mixture into the blades) Spoon into a bowl (or a coconut bowl for something extra!) Sprinkle with toppings. COOKING TIPS FROM @thenourishedchef: Simply add some more frozen mango when blending if you prefer a thicker consistency.

10.01.2022 The summer holidays are here and one way to kick start your day is with this delicious Homemade Grain-Free Granola! This recipe can be prepared in less than 10 minutes Not to mention being the perfect addition to top off your favourite Smoothie Bowls! Low Carb Vegan Gluten Free Ketogenic Dairy Free... RECIPE: INGREDIENTS: 1 1/2 Cup Almonds (chopped) 1 1/4 Cup Pecans (chopped) 1 Cup Walnuts (chopped) 1/2 Cup Cashews (chopped) 3 Tbsp Chia Seeds 1 tsp Black Sesame Seeds 1 Tbsp Linseed Meal (flaxseed meal) 1 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon 1 Tbsp Organic Coconut Sugar 1/4 tsp Sea Salt 3 Tbsp Coconut Oil 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup 1/4 Cup Dried Blueberries (optional) 1/4 Cup Pumpkin Seeds METHOD: Preheat oven to 160C and line a large baking tray with parchment paper. In a large mixing bowl, combine nuts, chia seeds, flaxseed, cinnamon and salt. In a small saucepan over low heat, warm the coconut oil, maple syrup and granulated coconut sugar. Once combined, pour the liquid over the dry ingredients and toss together to coat. Spread the mixture evenly onto the lined baking tray and bake for 20 minutes. Once your timer goes off, remove from oven and add dried blueberries, pumpkin seeds and sesame. Stir. Increase heat 170C and return to oven for another 5-8 minutes, or until deep golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely. COOKING TIPS FROM @thenourishedchef: For a ketogenic option, feel free to omit the dried blueberries. The coconut oil will help this granola crisp up nicely, but be sure to watch it carefully as it browns quickly. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

08.01.2022 Peanut butter and Jelly brownies...need we say more?! How about if we told you that they have a banana base and are refined sugar free?! Thanks @subz_foodie for this delicious creation! RECIPE:... Ingredients: 2 x ripe bananas 2 x tbsp of linseeds (flaxseeds) 3 x tbsp of date syrup 4 x tbsp of peanut butter 1/4 x cup of organic cacao powder 1 1/4 x cup of oat flour 3 x tbsp of almond milk 1 tsp x baking soda 1 x pinch of salt and a dash of water for consistency EXTRA INGREDIENTS: 2 x tbsp of peanut butter 2 x tbsp of strawberry jam METHOD: Preheat oven to 170C Line a baking tin with parchment paper In a bowl combine all the ingredients except the almond milk and the extra peanut butter and jam Once combined add the almond milk (1 tbsp at a time until mixture reaches a brownie consistency) Pour mixture into the lined baking tray and dollop the extra ingredients of peanut butter and jam onto the surface of the mixture and use a skewer to swirl it around making sure it is marbled rather than mixed in completely Bake in the oven for approximately 40-50 minutes, cool and then serve ENJOY! 06.01.2022 Let’s kick start 2021 off with this Dairy Free No Bake, Coconut Chocolate Slab! After the phenomenal response we received from the Macadamia Fudge Slice @thenourishedchef has now created a Nut Free version using our @nutsaboutlifeaustralia ingredients Low Carb Ketogenic Gluten Free Vegan Dairy Free... INGREDIENTS: 100g Cacao Powder 100ml Coconut Oil (melted) 3 Tbsp Coconut Butter 60g Coconut Flakes 3 Tbsp Almond Milk 3 Tbsp Powdered Sweetener 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract TO SERVE: 2 tsp Cacao Powder METHOD: Line a rectangular baking tray with parchment paper. In a food processor, combine all the ingredients until smooth. Once combined spread the fudge mixture evenly with a spatula onto the prepared baking tray. Place in the fridge to set for approximately 30 minutes. On e set, remove the fudge from the fridge and dust with some extra cacao powder. Cut into rectangular slabs to serve. COOKING TIPS FROM @thenourishedchef Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

05.01.2022 Summer is fast approaching and tropical deserts are certainly the flavour of the month! Our friends at @bakeateasy have created the ultimate COCONUT AND PASSION FRUIT TART recipe, you’ll certainly be the family favourite bringing this to Xmas lunch! With no baking required this raw tart is deliciously creamy and tastes like a tropical island RECIPE: Ingredients: (makes 2 mini cakes)... For the Crust: 1/2 cup raw cashews 1/4 cup macadamias 1/4 cup almond flour 3/4 cups shredded unsweetened coconut 2 tbsp coconut oil 1 tbsp maple syrup 1/4 tsp salt For the Filling: 2 cups raw cashews, soaked in water overnight or at least 4 hours and drained* 1/2 cup coconut milk, canned 1/4 cup coconut oil 1/3 cup maple syrup 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp vanilla essence 1-2 passion fruit pulps TIP: If you are short on time, soak cashews in hot water for 30 mins/1 hour Instructions: - Take 2 mini cake pans (5cm x 10cm) and grease with coconut oil. - For the crust, add cashews, macadamias, almond flour, shredded coconut, coconut oil, maple syrup, and salt in a food processor or blender. Process until it forms a crumbly mixture. Press the crust evenly into the bottom of the pans. Refrigerate for 15 mins. - Combine all the filling ingredients except the passionfruit pulps in the blender and blitz. Process for 2-4 mins, or until the mixture is smooth and creamy. - Pour the filling over the chilled crust and smooth out the top with a spatula. Place in the freezer for 30 mins./1 hour or until completely set. - Once ready to serve, top with passionfruit pulp and Enjoy!
