25.01.2022 So, I didn’t purchase the most comfortable face shields. Lucky we’re Orthotists and have some great materials around. Liz padded it for me so no more hexagon forehead! I’m going to have to tame that fringe though!!!

25.01.2022 URGENT UPDATE FROM NVOPS: Victoria 7 day lockdown We appreciate that the announced lockdown in Victoria will be distressing for many and we will seek to keep you up to date with accurate and timely information. The DHHS is currently working on policy for allied health, including private practice. ... Once this information is available NVOPS will contact clients about appointments over the lockdown period. Regardless of the information from DHHS we understand that some clients may wish to reschedule their appointments. We also understand that clients who live in Aged Care settings and other supported accommodation will not be able to keep their appointments. We are in the process of contacting these clients to reschedule, please be patient with our team as we work through this. Thank-you the NVOPS Team

24.01.2022 Just wanted to let our clients and their families know that The NVOPS Team has additional procedures in place to keep us all COVIDSAFE. Our professional association, AOPA, has advised us that as of Monday 20 July clients will be required to use masks for their visit to NVOPS. NVOPS will provide masks to ensure the correct level of protection. Children are exempted. 20.01.2022 For the month of April we have been focusing on staying "Active in April" This has involved our team walking to work, playing netball, horse riding, tap classes and Jiu Jitsu. We have also been focusing on assisting our clients stay active or looking into other prosthetic/orthotic options to assist with activity. Here is how one of our clients has been active with the use of her prostheses and the Rush feet. ... Rush Rampage: "This is my everyday leg, I also wear during weight training/workout sessions that I do 3 times a week I commissioned an artist (Maryam Safdar (Mari945) to draw a picture of my children Emma & Luke and our dog Toki as Superheroes in Anime style. I had the artwork printed onto a t-shirt which Noel flawlessly laminated onto my socket." https://www.instagram.com/p/CG8Ul5IHB5F/ Rush H2O: "Noel laminated a Devin Townsend (musician) t-shirt onto the leg flawlessly. The t-shirt features artwork of a sloth in space I haven't got to use the rush H20 at the beach yet but I have used my Rush Rampage at the beach. It was awesome, just had to take the foot shell off to wash out the sand. I can imagine that the H20 would be an easier clean up. I have found that using the rush H20 for yoga has been awesome, it grips better to my yoga mat and it is easier"

18.01.2022 NVOPS would like to thank the Goulburn Valley and O&P communities for their support over the past few days. We are pleased to advise that with the information updates around the COVID situation in Shepparton, we feel comfortable to reopen tomorrow Friday 16th October. To protect the community as much as possible,... No one will be able to enter the building if: 1. Have the visited the published locations and have not sought advice on the need for testing 2. Have been advised that they need to quarantine or isolate. All clients/visitors to NVOPS will be required to sign a document stating they do not meet either of the above categories. Throughout the pandemic we have taken an over cautious approach in operating NVOPS and will continue to do so.

Anyone planning to attend NVOPS who has COVID symptoms and/or has been asked to isolate MUST NOT enter the practice.
