24.01.2022 I just love watching friends succeed and follow their dreams. Yesterday, I spent the morning working with Cheryl Sheppeard before she flew back to her home in Melbourne. I met Cheryl late 2018 at a personal development and leadership program, and together we have both gone through many highs and lows of the entrepreneurial journey.... Each time Cheryl has been knocked down she has come back stronger and more resilient than ever! And yesterday I was so proud to see her shining her light and showing her true soul to the world as she continues her path and passion to becoming a Wellness Coach and Strategist. #nwcreativeau
21.01.2022 Oh hello Wednesday Ready to do this...
20.01.2022 Welcome to Episode 9 of Icebreaker! This episode is all about finding what it is that lights you up and discovering your PASSION & PURPOSE, which will then ultimately lead to PROFIT. Some people are able to access their passions really easy, while others take a little longer. Once you are able to discover what your passions are and follow the energy on that path, it can then lead to discovering your purpose. When you're walking within your purpose, you will feel much more o...f a sense of fulfillment which will naturally attract the right people, experiences and career opportunities to you. In this episode, we give you a few tips on how you can tap into and access what it is your passionate about (hint, it's normally something you do as a kid) Enjoy! :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hq5-FVaWK9g&t=112s Btw: We've converted Icebreaker into a podcast and released our first episode which I'll be sharing soon.
20.01.2022 Welcome to Wednesday's #wordoftheday Today's word is which is something that is hard to describe. Lost for words.... Generally when talking about something, someone or an experience that has completely blown your mind. I'm rarely lost for words, but while travelling I did encounter some pretty ineffable moments that I'll never be able to describe.

18.01.2022 Welcome to Wednesday's #WordoftheDay. Today's word is which means to travel purposefully in an unknown direction. As someone who has travelled to many places, I believe the best way to travel (locally or internationally) is in coddiwomple way.... because you never know where you will end up and what you'll experience.... Allowing life to surprise you.
18.01.2022 Taking time out to reflect the past 3 years in business (this March). Woohoo! 6 years ago I was a Freelance Digital Marketer and Writer with little confidence working a full-time job. I would come home after working in media and marketing agencies, go to yoga or the gym, and work late or rise early to get my own clients work done.... I was both excited and naive, giving away too much guidance to people who were never going to hire me and charging way below my worth. I was told I'd never make it or I just wasn't cut out for business. All the while holding the dream of one day forging my own path and designing my own days and life. It hasn't been easy and at times was difficult to keep going. I took work at a cafe - realising even the 10 years of hospitality experience couldn't save me from making bad coffees. And I took leaps into the unknown Speaking gigs Creating my Skillshare Content Marketing class Saying yes when my gut told me to say no. Hiring people Hard conversations Collaborations that didn't work out Mentoring others Helping my clients build their businesses Watching my biz go from little ol me to a creative and writing hub working with many other talented specialists. And having a write up and live interview by Sarina Russo's PR team as an example student of their Neis program. Achieving goals I had only dreamed about. Walking the path of business, entrepreneurship and the path of the unknown is daunting and definitely not for the faint-hearted. But it's the wins Big and small The joy I get when I share what I've learnt with others And the triumph I feel when I rise again after being knocked down to the ground. That makes it all worth it. If you're looking at freelancing, starting a side hustle, or your own business and need a little guidance, get in touch. I would absolutely love to help! www.nwcreative.com.au #NWCreative
17.01.2022 Welcome to Wednesday's #wordoftheday Today's word is , which describes someone dressed in ragged, dirty clothes. Ragamuffin's origin dates back to a late 14th century poem called "Ragamoffyn". The poem was referenced to a man with a "shaggy" appearance.... The other day my partner called me his little ragamuffin, both not knowing what it actually meant. I thought it sounded cute untill we looked up the meaning... #nwcreative
13.01.2022 #whatclientssay You may have seen Fiona appear in Icebreaker, a talk show we created (soon to be podcast) this year, as my lovely co-host. I first met Fi last year when I was asked to model her new collections, we then reconnected at another shoot and realised we both love personal development and sharing what we know with others - thus birthing Icebreaker.... I've also become a customer of Fi's stunning, ethical and sustainable brand allthingsfi as I absolutely love her clothes, her purpose, contribution and why behind them. She is one conscious boss babe with a big vision! Recently Fi also became a client of NW Creative, after she needed two blog articles written for the launch of her sustainable new collection which is launching today! You can check out her new collection here; https://www.allthingsfi.com.au/ This is one of the things I love about this journey, is the people you meet along the way. Fi and I have both been able to add value to each others businesses with a partnership that just keeps growing into different avenues. Thank you Fiona, for entrusting me with your brand, and for being a fun and amazing co-host.
12.01.2022 And while I'm on a roll. I am super excited to announce the launch of TruWood Australia's website. Yes we've been busy little bees. This is the second business I've helped Terry with and it was such a pleasure to help build TruWood from the start, including Truwood's name, branding, messaging and new website. ... I'm sure you've seen me sharing the journey of TruWood over the months. Beautifully handcrafted, Australian made, antibacterial cutting boards & serving platters. We've had so much fun creating this brand, from workshopping and brainstorming the name, creating the logo with Lisa from Inkblott Design - Graphic Design & Branding Specialists, visiting TruWood's manufacturing factory, producing a promotional video with Katy & Shaun from Grizzly Bear Media and working with the lovely Jessie Goh in bringing the TruWood website to life. I am very proud. Big thanks to all involved. You can view the website here; https://truwoodaustralia.com/
11.01.2022 Welcome to episode 7 of Icebreaker where we dive into the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction is one of the universal laws that can sometimes be misunderstood. It's a little more than just thinking positive about something and having it materialise into our lives. It takes conscious thought, intention and ensuring you're a vibrational match to what you really desire. In this episode, we describe what The Law of Attraction is, and offer tips on how to use it. Knowing how... it works can be a real game changer to our careers, relationships, businesses and our lives. Enjoy! And don't forget to subcribe; https://youtu.be/lFyfpd4mlSY
10.01.2022 Welcome to Wednesday's #wordoftheday Today's word is which means total BS, when putting it lightly. It's also a word used by Hagrid in Harry Potter - yeah you know what I'm talking about H Potter fans. ;)... #nwcreativeau
09.01.2022 I love jigsaw puzzles. I find them so therapeutic and a great way to enjoy some down time either after I finish my work or between my breaks. They also give you a sense of achievement and accomplishment, especially the harder ones. I just finished this one which was taken by a photographer. I found her at the markets. She was travelling the world taking amazing picturesque shots untill Covid hit. ... Her business was frozen in a flash. But it didn't stop her. She pivoted and started converting her amazing photography into jigsaws and brought them into her stall to sell amongst her photography. I thought it was a brilliant idea. This one was taken at a barn in Wyoming, USA.
08.01.2022 After an intense run around New Farm this morning, I lay on the grass barefeet, grounding into the earth, preparing for the day ahead. As I looked up and saw this beautiful tree formation, I thought to myself how lucky we are to have these beautiful trees giving us oxygen, sheltering us from the rain and sun and offering a moment of presence. Did you know that one large tree can provide a days oxygen for up to 4 people.... Pretty cool right!? But as we hustle through life we don't realise that the very thing That gives us life Can be walked by without a second glance. #nwcreativeau
07.01.2022 I have to share this beautiful testimonial I just received. I first met Olessia in 2018 at the start of building my business. Upon meeting Olessia through a mutual client, I realised that we could really support each each others businesses (and I could finally get rid of those selfies on my website), so we became each others clients.... This then led to beautiful photoshoot and two other photoshoots to follow throughout the years - building both my personal brand and my confidence. 2 years later, I've helped Olessia build up her photography brand and launch her brand new website; you can check it out here; https://olessia.com.au/ When I first read this, I was just in awe. I do what I do because I really love it and when I get feedback like this, it really shows that I'm on the right track. The power of words right! Thank you SO much Olessia!

02.01.2022 Welcome to Wednesday's #wordoftheday. Today's word is which means cranky, moody and bad-tempered. Pronounced: ker-muhj-uhn I would say it would only ever be used in a sentence to emphasize the description of someone who is a curmudgeon... generally when hangry or missing their morning coffee
