16.01.2022 What lift makes you the most happy? Mine is the deadlift. And here's why! It's challenging. It's really easy to lift something off the floor, but doing it correctly is really challenging. ... You feel strong. Because of how many muscles are involved, your progress is quick The endorphins. Your body rewards you when you lift heavy and you feel amazing for hours! Putting all the plates back after . After a big lift, those plates feel like air! I sure won't be taking deadlifts for granted any more when gyms open again. My goal is to EVENTUALLY lift 250kgs!

10.01.2022 THE DEADLIFT. Such a basic movement, yet one of the hardest to master. A true test of strength. You can either lift it off the ground or you can't. A true representation of your progress in the gym. How?... Your leg, core, back and grip strength are all being tested physically, in unison. But wait, there's more... Deadlifts also test your mental strength like no other exercise does. Your body may possess the required strength, but if your head isn't in it, that bar ain't moving! Developing the right mindset is critical to deadlifting heavy. It's all or nothing, you CANNOT half ass a Deadlift. You don't need Deadlifts in your program to achieve your goals in the gym. But what you will learn from doing them, to me, is invaluable.

03.01.2022 First powerlifting comp done 595kg total and went 8/9. Only missed my last bench press attempt at 140 (would have got me a 600 total ) - Lifts - Squat: 220kg... Bench: 135kg Deadlift: 240kg Oh and I ended up winning! I had heaps of fun and can't wait to come back stronger next time. Thanks to everyone who came to watch and support me

This morning I thought I'd share something interesting to give you a bit of perspective on how easy it can be to over eat if you aren't CHECKING LABELS! This post is relevant to all of you! If you are looking to lose weight. This is most likely your entire day's worth of calories right here in this picture! If you are bulking this shows you how easy it is to get in those extra calories if need be. In this p...icture is 2 Coles brand banana breads and a Dare iced mocha. How many calories was that? 1400! Making good food choices is SO important when you are trying to lose weight because just looking at the SIZE of a meal gives no indication of how much you are actually giving your body.
