25.01.2022 Bit of carnage getting out of the Pilliga and then into the black soils near Come-by-chance but everyone has arrived safely at Lightning Ridge. 23 degrees today which is about 20 degrees warmer than Bathurst...... Where is your Next Adventure

25.01.2022 Always seems the way when you have a big toy that you see a bigger toy and want it!!! Western Power in Perth have kitted out a 6x6 Zetros with all the bells and whistles including CTIS (Next thing on my shopping list) and a heavy duty Fassi crane. Although its not running the 14r20 tyres it still looks like a great truck to drive anywhere it's not too wet & boggy. ... Might need to get it out into the Simpson Desert next June for Finke. Where is your Next Adventure??

24.01.2022 Truck is all serviced and ready to leave tomorrow morning for a week gig with Greg Yager and the crew at RideADV. Start in Dubbo then we head out to Condo, Menindee, Broken Hill then up to Pack Saddle then east to Tilpa. Staying at the pub before heading across to Lightning Ridge and then snake our way back through the Pilliga before getting back into Dubbo. Bit of wet weather around so we might have to change plans as required but that’s the general itinerary. ... Looking forward to a week on the road. Where is your Next Adventure??

22.01.2022 First time in over 12 years we didn’t get out to the Simpson Desert for a trip It’s been a pretty crazy year but plans are already in place for a supported trip to watch Finke Desert race in June 2021 with Greg Yager at RideADV and then come back across the desert and another trip with Clay Marks from Frontline Safari in September doing support for Soldier On. Stay tuned for some updates as well as some pictures of the build on the new addition to the fleet a 319 Sprinter 4x4... (may the blinging commence) Where is your Next Adventure

22.01.2022 Change of plans. The recent rains have closed all the roads out west so Greg Yager and the crew have made the call to change the itinerary. We are now having a rest day at Lightning Ridge while the new trip is planned out and uploaded to everyone’s GPS Managed to get some Wifi from Lorne Station so I didn’t miss my lectures and tutorials for Uni & Greg remapped the trip. 19.01.2022 12 months ago we were out in the Simpson Desert and we were already working on the 2020 trip...... Hopefully make up for it with 2021 with two Simpson Desert trip bookings already in the diary to make up for it. Bring on 2021!!!... Where is your Next Adventure

18.01.2022 Well that day didn’t go as planned Picked truck up from Cowra Auto Electrical who have just finished all the wiring and then got home and craned the unit on the back. It wasn’t sitting properly because of the angle I was at so I thought I would take the truck for a quick spin........ 4 hours later the backhoe and truck are both still bogged. ... Matt coming over tomorrow morning with his D6 to pull me out....... Today’s adventure was in the paddock next to the house!!!!! Where is your Next Adventure

17.01.2022 Supporting the WR250 Rally with Yamaha Australia and Greg Yager and the crew from RideADV. Starting at Chris Watson Motorcycles in Cessnock and heading north. Lunch stop in the bush at Karauh and then up to Bulahdelah for the night. Poured with rain last night so the 45 riders from NSW should have a dust free day. ... Where is your Next Adventure

14.01.2022 Salt Caves, The Pilliga Awesome camp ground that we found on a recent recce trip and used on the RideADV Darling Ride with Greg Yager and the crew. Yamaha WR 250 R Rally next weekend ... Where is your Next Adventure

13.01.2022 Up bright and early to a balmy -2 (got to love a Bathurst winter) I ducked into work and grabbed the industrial size bog mats off one of the drilling rig support trucks and then laid them all out to extract the Zetros Matt Nicolson turned up with his D6 and we quickly pulled her out of the slop followed by the Backhoe.... So that was my adventure for the day. Everything is filthy and the front paddock has a few holes in it but we got the job done without damaging anything. Thanks again Matt you are a bloody legend. Better take you on an adventure!!! Where is your Next Adventure

10.01.2022 Service day in the shed. Thanks Cranstons Transport for the use of a bay today. Gave everything that spins a lube and checked everything that doesn’t. Did I say I love the Zetros!!! Greg Yager and the crew from RideADV flew through Bathurst in the rain on their way to Dubbvegas. The Ute and trailer looked pretty flash... Up early tomorrow to drive to Dubbo and help sort things out before heading off on Sunday Where is your Next Adventure

05.01.2022 Seemed like a life time ago doing the Canning unsupported with Rob Bradley and Lindsay Ragg. It was that long ago I was good looking with hair. Fair amount of logistics involved in organising that trip and it was good experience for setting up NXTADV Where is your Next Adventure

04.01.2022 A very cold weekend for the riders for the ride to camp with Greg Yager and the crew from RideADV. Snow sleet slush and slop for most of the day with plenty of trees down on the tracks. Riders turned up to a cranking fire, cold beer and plenty of gourmet food. Scott Taylor from Al Dente provided an awesome dinner and breckie with barista coffee and everyone was back on the road by 8am the next day. ... My first play with the gimbal. I promise to get better. Where is your Next Adventure

01.01.2022 Gourmet hamburgers for lunch north of Karuah in the bush for the WR250 Rally with Greg Yager and the crew from RideADV. Can’t say you won’t be well feed when NXTADV is organising catering. Even managed some vego burgers for the Vegetarians. Where is your Next Adventure??
