07.01.2022 CAN WE FIT... What is red, 3.5m high, 2.4m wide, 7.5m long and weighs 13.7 tonnes? Answer: a Category 1 fire tanker.... They are big and at times cumbersome, however they are great at protecting homes threatened by fire but not so if we cannot get to it... Ask yourself will one of our Cat 1 tankers get to your home? If not what can you do to ensure that we can get to your home if threatened by a bushfire

02.01.2022 It’s images like this that will cause concern for firefighters this season. With good rains across most of NSW and more predicted over the coming weeks we can expect to see more paddocks like this. Grass fires start quickly and spread rapidly. Important to plan and prepare. How’s your area? Photos by Jason Jarrett at Deepeater in the Northern Tablelands.
