25.01.2022 Back to work now after our brief trip to the Australian Wagyu Association annual conference in Adelaide. It was great catch up with old friends and meet some interesting new people from all around Australia and overseas. We had an overwhelming response and lots of interest with the new semen we have for sale. Overall it was a great conference.

24.01.2022 Today's carcase gradings! All very awesome pieces of meat, but look at the fine marbling from KSOFN00160. Good old KSOFC0007 does it again. ... This amazing old cow just keeps producing highly marble scored steers. Her female offspring have also been producing highly marble scored carcases. Embryos from KSOFC0007 and daughters of this old girl are for sale. PM me for more details

23.01.2022 Its been a sad day at Oasis Collection Centre. Our best cow KSOFC0007 is finally at rest Lately she had been suffering from Arthritis and was constantly in pain. C7 was the mother of the highest priced grass fed beef in Australia. All but 2 of C7s progeny marble scored 9 and 9+. One of those 2 head was a 2 year old daughter that marble scored 7 off grass.... Unfortunately due to single animals being processed, none of the carcass data could be used by the AWA to better her EBVs and show the real potential this female had. See more

17.01.2022 Processed our latest steer today. KSOFM00157 was a 3 year old, his carcass weighted 494kg. Marble score 9 Very happy with the result!

16.01.2022 It's been a huge week at Oasis Collection Centre from the abattoirs to the Petri dish KSOFN00176 was processed and packaged for our first shipment of meat to Malaysia. He is a full brother to the highest priced grass fed beef in Australia.... KSOFC0007 - mother of both steers gave 7 IVF embryos and we transferred 3 of them into recipients. Our export flush program for the European Union produced 46 embryos from 3 donors. During the programming of our donors we had some amazing sunrises and sunsets.

15.01.2022 Today we got a our spring calving cows and calves in to give them a drench & a health check. While we were working on the cattle, our local council painted the line up the middle of the road. It is extremely funny watching cattle having strange obstacles put in front of them. This video is the part of the mob going back to their paddock having to cross the road & a New White Line.

13.01.2022 Sitting in Johannesburg airport waiting for our flight home, which has been delayed. Flighing over here to advertise at the South African Wagyu Conference in Nampo and look at our calves we have in joint ventures. Chauffeured to the conference and then back to the farm by Derick and Liesl Orsmond (Thank you). We met alot of extremely nice people as well as new contacts in the Wagyu Industry. Enjoyed catching up and spending time with the crew from Embryo Plus. Staying at ...Evergreen Guesthouse with Pasta Wally and Elizabeth in Britts. (Totally recommend this place for accommodation) Now back to water logged and knee deep mud at home. See more

03.01.2022 Another immaculate job done thanks to Nick Chapman from #chapmancartage and Michael from #wiltrack_earthmoving for our yearly feed pad cleaning, with the addition of our new stoned holding yard and wash bay.

02.01.2022 "KSOFC0007 does it again." Her daughter N00178 was processed today. Straight out of the paddock as you can tell by the yellow fat. Look at that fine marbling. Her half brother G0035 also grass fed, was sold for a record price of $220.

01.01.2022 Big day at Oasis Collection Centre today. I left home at 5.00am for Speed Breed an (IVF Collection Facility) near Geelong, to pick embryos and drop off more semen. KSOFC0007 has been slowly producing IVF embryos and today she gave us 6 fresh Terutani 40/1 embryos and another 5 frozen. I arrived home at 11.20am to meet our Rob Pashen from Australian Animal Genetics to implant these babies. We programmed 10 surrogate mothers and implanted all 6 fresh IVF embryos plus 4 frozen embryos. Let's hope they all hold
