24.01.2022 Even more important news than the USA election result - the NSW Victorian border is opening for unrestricted access from Monday 23rd November. Can't wait to see all our Victorian friends again!

23.01.2022 Well...great news. Merimbula and Ocean Drive Apartments are open for business again. The NSW RFS have advised that tourists should be encouraged to visit the region again and we have rooms just waiting to welcome you. So come on down (as they say) and help the Far South Coast on it's road to recovery.

21.01.2022 Merimbula in the Winter time - what's not to love?

20.01.2022 Travel to and from Melbourne is now possible, however, the Princes Highway remains closed at the Victorian border - a detour is now in place. For traffic headed from Melbourne to Merimbula, turn off the Princes Highway at Cann River onto the Monaro Highway and head towards Bombala then across the border turn right onto Imlay Rd and travel east until you rejoin the Princes Highway then head north towards Eden. You will be travelling through areas affected by the Border Fire so drive to the conditions.

19.01.2022 19th May - The NSW government today announced that commencing June 1st regional travel in NSW will be permitted for any reason, including holidays. Hopefully, interstate travel will not be too much later. We hope you all stay safe and look forward to seeing you soon.

09.01.2022 March 28. What to say. Drought, fire, flood and now the virus. Jenny saw a grasshopper on the window the other day so I guess the locust plague is next .... but it will just have to wait it's turn. Following the govt. advice to stay at home and practice "social distancing" we have decided to close the complex for a while. This is an 'unprecedented' move in 'unprecedented' times when 'unprecedented' actions are called for to 'flatten the curve'. Which basically means: things a...re different and we need to slow the spread of Covid19. Look after yourselves and your loved ones and do all the right things. We want to see you all come for a holiday when it's all over ... and it will be. Stay safe and keep smiling. See more

07.01.2022 So....from 1st June we can welcome visitors from Victoria as well as ACT and NSW. Bring it on! Do remember that the virus hasn't gone away and exercise care when you travel.

06.01.2022 From 6:00pm tonight (Jan 18) Victorians are able to return from Merimbula with a permit but NO requirement to self-isolate or be tested unless showing Covid symptoms or having travelled out of the "green zone" (Bega Valley and Snowy Mountains shires).

05.01.2022 Well .... what a stressful night it turned out to be as the so-called Border Fire raced up from the border almost to Eden during the night. Thankfully the wind eased and the fire is turning slightly to the northwest once again the threat to Merimbula has eased. We are currently "hosting" some of the many evacuees from the surrounding area and hoping, along with them, that they have homes to return to soon. We'd like to thank all those who have been in touch and say how much comfort we have drawn from their concern. Let's all stay safe.

03.01.2022 Well ..... here we go again. Last year we were surrounded by fire and this year the virus. Currently we can have guests from the Vic/NSW border region as well as regional NSW and the ACT. If this is you, why not take the chance while you can and come visit Merimbula and the spectacular Far South Coast.
