12.01.2022 Thanks for everyone who braved the weather and set a few flares off yesterday. A lot of positive feedback and will hold one again next year. We will be holding a life vest session, bring along your inflatable life vests to be serviced and run through how to use them. We are thinking to coincide with junior fishing comp being Saturday 12th December. Any feedback welcomed

07.01.2022 I think i can talk on behalf of everyone when i say what a fantastic night the awards night turned out to be. We had the most amazing food and deserts to tuck into for the evening. A very special thanks to everyone who brang a plate and put there secret recipes on display for everyone to enjoy. There was enough food to feed an army! A special thanks to Christopher Hoult, and John Lebeter for making the night run smoothly. Andy Cass as always fantastic on the mic. Thanks to An...dy we also had the music sorted and the slide show of everyone's catches up on the screen. Thanks to Getaway Outdoors Balcatta for donating lots of goodies for the winners! Thanks to everyone who helps out at the weigh ins all year round. I wont list you all as there are a fair few and i would hate to miss someone aha. Congratulations to all the winners in all the sections. Hopefully you will be defending your title for the new season. If anyone can pass a message onto Luca Gugliotta(Junior beach champ) & Nathan Carson(Mini Junior boat champ) they have some prizes and vouchers to collect from Getaway Outdoors Balcatta. 06.01.2022 Alright Ladies & gentleman tomorrow morning at 5am is the start of the new 2020/21 beach fishing season. We have some A grade anglers coming back after having a rest last season. Weather forecast looks pretty reasonable especially tomorrow morning. Hopefully we will see the return of a few juniors, mini juniors and women fishing this comp with the nicer weather. Tight lines. 02.01.2022 Flare demonstration this Saturday 2pm. Hopefully the rain will hold off. Will be held out in the weigh in area. Come and learn how to safely let off flares. DoT kindly going to come and assist with the demonstration. We have approval for 30 flares red/orange flares so please come along and let off a flare. This is open to all ORSSC members
