19.01.2022 The Australian Federal Government has announced a plan to tackle the issue of plastic waste. Polystyrene foam will be phased out in australia by mid 2022 as part of the plan. The plan also includes targets to cut plastic pollution from washing machine outflows and from cigarette butts. South Australia's single-use plastic ban came into effect on 1st March. Queensland passed legislation this week to enact their state ban on single-use plastic later this year.... It's time to change your habits and get used to not using single-use plastic and be part of the solution!
