24.01.2022 Always Was, Always Will Be. This week is an extra opportunity to celebrate the history, culture and ongoing achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We acknowledge and pay respects to the Boonwurrung people, the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we’re lucky enough to host our festivals and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, culture, song, dance and community and pay respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. We've als...o had Emma Donovan and The Putbacks new album, 'Crossover’ playing on repeat since it came out. They played Ocean Sounds earlier this year and it's an incredible album to listen to this week. Salty One Here

At Ocean Sounds, you raised $1845 for local Gippsland wildlife rehabilitation centres, after the devastating fires across Australia. To raise these much needed funds is an incredible effort for our local community by everyone at the festival. Not to mention, to only have a single wheelie bin of rubbish at the end of the festival is an amazing result "Thank you all for partying with the planet. Thank you for making a difference in the world. Let's make the world a better place together."
