13.01.2022 MOORE RIVER IS SERIOUSLY FLOWING It started as a trickle early this morning but by noon things had picked up pace considerably and now the Moore River mouth is... probably 60 m wide and the river has dropped over a metre in the past two hours. This is an awesome display of nature. And remember to grab a toasted sandwich and a super chocolate milkshake from the Guilderton General Store right on the river. NOTE: You can book sandboards, surfboards, SUPs and quad bike/buggy tours through the Lancelin dunes at www.lancelin.com.au/activities.

02.01.2022 MOORE RIVER MOUTH CLOSE TO BREAKING This was the scene at Moore River a couple of hours ago with sea water just touching the river water in numerous spots. At t...he time these pics were taken, the tide was at .7m and on its way down. It will be interesting to see if it breaks through at tomorrows high tide (4pm) or on Saturday when the tide is high from 12.30pm to 6.40pm.
