Does this suggest that there are little to no reports made agsinst legal practitioners from medium to large legal firms to the office of the legal services commissioner and law society? They have been considered movers and shakers who passionately believe in something enough to stand up for it, and draw attention to it, whether it be a social, cultural, religious or political issue. Protestors have an important role one that puts issues into the spotlight where they can be highlighted and debated. However, it is important to note that the Australian Constitution does not guarantee the right to ...peaceful protest, and our nation does not have a national Charter or Bill of Rights to protect this fundamental component of a democracy. This is the result of the Govt budget cuts to firefighting services and aid, greatly impacting preventative strategies such as backburning and effectively utilising resources in ...preparation of the dry hot season, at a time where Australia is also facing drought and water crisis. In NSW, the 2019-20 NSW State Budget, Fire and Rescue had its capital expenditure budget cut by $28.5 million or 35%. The Rural Fire Service has its capital expenditure budget cut by $49.9 million or 75%. The Australian PM received reports 7 months prior to the fire crisis which were ignored and no action taken. There were requests for meeting with the PM as early as April this year to warn of the fire crisis to come, which were rejected. The Australian PM emphatically denies the impact of climate change.
