23.01.2022 We made it to the top of Mount Kosciuszko! We stayed a few nights at the Discovery Parks Jindabyne, right on Lake Jindabyne. The unpowered site was a bit dusty, but a lovely setting all the same. It took us 2 hours to climb to the summit from the top of the chair lift and 1.5 hours to come down. The kids found it a bit tough in places, but nothing some lollies couldn’t fix! There was even some snow left along the way which was an extra bonus! 22.01.2022 10mins outside Swan Hill was a great little free camp on the Murray called Speewa Ferry Crossing Campsite. A quiet camp with a toilet nearby (byo toilet paper) and a view of the ferry. 22.01.2022 We had a lovely little farm stay at an Alpaca hobby farm called Everview Farm. There is a shower, toilet and power is available if needed. The ground is sloping with a few flat areas - the owners are working on levelling sites. Such a gorgeous back drop to wake up to with kangaroos and alpaca’s in view. 20.01.2022 Lane Cove Tourist Park was our home base while in Sydney. It’s only 10kms north of the CBD, but it doesn’t even feel like you’re in the city, as it’s surrounded by the Lane Cove National Park. The sites are large and grassy and it’s only a short 10min walk to the metro station, so it makes the perfect base to go and explore Sydney and it’s surrounds. The showers weren’t the cleanest we’ve seen and there is a little bit of aircraft noise, but the positives of this park far outweigh any drawbacks. #oejcamping #sydneyaustralia #sydneyharbourbridge #citycamping #bondibeach #wendyssecretgarden #sydneyoperahouse #sydneyharbour @ Sydney, Australia

16.01.2022 So much to see and do in Canberra! We stayed near the city in the Alivio Tourist Park which was one of the best Caravan Parks that we stayed in. It was one of the worst air quality days when we arrived, due to the bush fire smoke, which meant that nearly all of Canberra’s tourist attractions were closed. Over a couple of days we managed to visit the National Museum of Australia, which had a great K space for the kids, Parliament House, the Australian War Memorial, the Royal Mint and Questacon. 12.01.2022 Our home base over Christmas has been the gorgeous Apollo Bay. We stayed at the Big 4 Apollo Bay Pisces, with views over the ocean. Such a wonderful park for families with a playground, heated pool, games room, tv room, camp kitchen, laundry and more!
