21.01.2022 Very sad news indeed - our only life member has lost his long struggle with memory issues and has completely lost the plot - intial diagnosis now says he has the mind of an 8 year old boy - fascinated with all things Disney ! The commitee is arranging a support group and a roster to mow the lawn etc - 8 year old boys shouldnt be playing with lawnmowers ! Unfortunately, not sure what this means for your car sevice as yet - too early to tell - but if it comes back with Disney dolls on the mirror - you know the story - say nothing - he doesnt even know he is doing it !

18.01.2022 OFAT Official enquiry Members are advised that the committee has launched an official enquiry into a senior member and their very close relationship with both the Roosters and his dog ! Following the very recent high profile case of the NRL vs the pissing, kissing, give the dog a boner, halfback at the Roosters, the committee has restated their behavioural standards will not be compromised by any member.... In other semi-related news the club has offered to support the bulldog fans with the group ( who lost their mascot this week due to Post Traumatic Stress syndrome ). The committee has also decided to place a major stake on NSW for 2016 State of Origin, as it is most likely that now the very average halfback has been pissed off and left with his tail between his legs, NSW is a much better chance of winning.

17.01.2022 Another successful Gone Fishing Event. Thank you to the community of Berrara who attended our South Coast Event. Thank you also to our members who hosted the event and the Department of Primary Industries.... Despite challenging weather we managed to attract many locals and holidaymakers to our annual event.

13.01.2022 NSW Roads minister shows visionary leadership with a raft of new projects for the Binda area. The Hon Duncan Gay once again joined the OFAT celebrations ( after being cleared by local police and OFAT security ) at the Binda Picnic Races and was pleased to endorse OFAT proposed development in the area - a light rail, international high roller casino and international airport are certainly projects which will energise the local community ! The minister thanked OFAT for their vision and dedication to worthwhile causes and the OFAT committee cannot believe this remarkable local member is not the Premier of NSW !

13.01.2022 Some deeply disturbing developments on the South Coast as members fight to preserve OFAT traditional hunting and fishing grounds - only a few months ago we were bagging out in Jervis Bay - now it seems some of our members have "bagged out" completely - Village People fundraiser coming soon to an OFAT venue near you!

11.01.2022 As members will no doubt be aware ( due to peace and quiet around Oatley at the moment ) - several of our members have led a delegation to Vietnam to investigate the launch of VOFAT - unfortunately this is not going well at present ! Following the constant reminders from Grant Coe about his financial wisdom and skill ( he managed to exchange US dollars at a rate far batter than rest of the delegation ) and how he had made a lot more money to spend in Vietnam than the rest of ...the team - this financial whizkid managed to leave the cash at home ! His financial skills have continued with a massive effort at negotiating with the locals ( those that travelled to China a few years ago will remember the 3 hours we spent waiting for Coey to save 34 cents on a jacket ) Coey managed to successfully negotiate the price of 2 fans for 100 dong down to 3 fans for 150 dong - showing why we call him Grant Buffet Coe! In other news the Vietnamese air force has been stood after realising that the US air force had not returned B52 bombers to the skies above Saigon but Rob Dahan was having an afternoon nap !

07.01.2022 BINDA INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT COMPLETED After a very successful weekend at the Peelwood Detention Centre - workers were released midday Sunday when the new decking was finally completed and approved by the owners! Local property experts have estimated the property value could have increased by as much as $50,000 and could be increased further if the attached homestead was demolished and the deck sold as a standalone feature.

02.01.2022 A sad sad day for OFAT when we learned the BINDA RACES FOR 2015 have been cancelled due to the concerns of some tree hugging, left wing, dope smoking, mung bean munchers from Racing NSW who are concerned about the standard of the track - WHAT BLOODY TRACK ? We now know how Jacqueline felt the day Kennedy was shot ( shut up you didnt know him ! ) or how Coey felt when the Dragons failed to make the semis ( again ) - utter shock, devastation and heartfelt grief - but the committee is resolute and far tougher than this ! We will be attending Binda for the weekend and hold a candlelight vigil at the track in memory of this magnificent social event which has been run for nearly 170 years.
