Venue: meeting at the ground. We will be having a bbq at the new Olinda green, food and drinks provided - thanks club! We will introduce - Coaches - New/returning players - New U/19 s Have a brief overview of pre season and what we know so far. Fittings of the new pre season gear. 13.01.2022 OFCFNC would like to welcome new recruits Tom Falzon and Alex Mackinnon. Tom Falzon is continuing a family dynasty at Olinda by signing with us. He is the grandson of Life Member & triple premiership player Paul Jones, & great grandson of club legend Don Jones. He’s a tough inside defender/mid fielder and absolutely delighted to be joining the Bloods for season 2021 & beyond. Alex MacKinnon is a tall CHB/CHF/Ruckman who was nominated for the EFL Rising Star Award in 2016 & ha...s had stints at Eastern Ranges as well as Box Hill. We welcome both Tom and Alex and their families for 2021 and trust that they enjoy their time at the club.

11.01.2022 Botch has informed the club that he wants to play for Monbulk in 2021. Whilst some may not understand -Botch has been more than upfront with SMG and has been open and honest with his football moving forward.We wish him all the best with his football and we look forward to a return to the Bloods in the future. The doors are always open and he’s forever welcome at the club.

02.01.2022 SMG are delighted to announce the appointment of Adam Borg as Coach of our inaugural U/19 Football Team. We can’t stress enough how important this appointment is to our club. SMG & all our Football Coaches have agreed that our number one priority for 2021 is the development of our younger players, so that we consistently continue to focus not only on a successful season next year, but that we also build for long term success over the next decade. There is no doubt that we h...ave a great group of young players lining up with the Bloods this year and we will be giving them every opportunity to shine. We are confident that Adam’s undoubted ability to communicate extremely well with players & support staff will help us a great deal with this quest. His passion and enthusiasm for the game is already well known around our great club, so we heartily congratulate Adam & wish him every success in his new role.

01.01.2022 THANK YOU CHARGEY This morning James informed us he was moving on. To say Big Tall Jim has left a lasting legacy on our club is an understatement! James was an integral part of our div 1 Premiership, winning a league best and fairest along the way. James’s generosity towards the club will always be admired....
