A mixture of carpet and vinyl segregated individual spaces in a unique format. Within a limited timeframe, we were able to build and fit-out a highly contemporary design with minimal interference to the business’ operation. Guided by people with lived experiences of mental health facilities, we collaborated with Arcstudios architecture to help create a calm and tranquil space. Careful consideration was given to the light, colour, textures and sounds used in the facility to curate a welcoming atmosphere.... Features of the space include trauma-informed designs, such as: - Neutral colour palette - Anti-ligature fittings and furniture - Clean lines and slick detailing These features are part of a foundation for positive effects on mental health and wellbeing. This was especially important in this project for Double Bay Breast Clinic. Patients and clients should feel calm and comfortable as they walk in, all while creating an environment that is functional for receptionists and doctors as well. We created a light-filled, clean and minimalistic reception fitout, perfect for these renowned doctors and their clients.

05.01.2022 One key difference between one project to another? Some require a lot more structural change. This completed project for Richmond RPA required demolition, remediation as well as removal of all interior finishes. Thats a hefty task. Our team of demolition experts worked steadily and carefully. There were immovable property items on the site that must remain intact, as well as potential hazards we had to deal with, including sewerage and electrical wiring. Aided by our experie...nce, know-how and state-of-the-art equipment, the demolition was completed quickly and safely. With the old concrete walls safely taken down, we could expand the clients office space. The now much larger office interior, and improved ambiance and ergonomics provide an enhanced experience for both staff and clients of Five Dock.
