09.01.2022 SUN'S out SNAKES are out Snakes are MOST venomous this time of year after hibernating. A single snake bite can kill your pet. Time is of the essence, so if you suspect your pet may have been bitten take them to the closest Vet ASAP. When walking your dog close to bush land or waterways, keep them on a lead. At home keep your grass short, trim back bushes and remove rubbish or wood piles. Vigilance over snakes should not be confined to residents in the ‘bush’ but people living in residential areas also.
