25.01.2022 Huge shout out to @lovelockstudio for her work on the Of Place rebrand. The simplicity and minimalism of the final design comes from Of Place’s desire to facilitate and enable the stories of others. To not hijack experiences, but to help shape them in a way that crafts a connection with audiences. The process of working with @dr_schwan was one underpinned by collaboration. Not only did we feel heard in every phase of the process, but Sinead reflected back what she saw in Of... Place, opening up doors for us to explore who we are and what we represent in greater depth. 23.01.2022 Raw stills from a great day of shooting with @rw_environmentalartist and @thehiveoceangrove It was a great privilege for me to spend time with someone so knowledgeable on the lives of those who surround us every day. (Spoiler alert: Birds and habitat) Richard’s inherent respect and curiosity for the natural world is contagious. His illustrations, paintings and observations capture the character and personality of his subjects, and invite audiences in to learn and to reflect.... The film will explore more of his perspective, approach and reflections on a life split between the field and studio. It is a response to the release of his latest book, A Brush With Birds and the exhibition of the same name at Hive Gallery. More coming soon..

19.01.2022 Super excited to start work on a longer format documentary with @luke_jrichards seeking to break down partisan thinking of the dingo and open up a more constructive dialogue going forward. Luke is a sustainable development researcher with a core focus on the relationship between agriculture and conservation. We are collaborating to create a film that explores the misunderstanding and mischaracterisation of the dingo in the Australian psyche. ... Watch this space.

16.01.2022 A while back I was fortunate to be a part of the process of Archie Roach re-recording the songs of Charcoal Lane from his kitchen table. It was an incredible privilege to be in the room as Archie told the stories behind the songs and fleshed out the emotional arcs with his incredibly talented band in Steve Magnusson and Sam Anning. The feeling in the room was something very special and something that won't be forgotten soon.
