24.01.2022 The crazy is in its place. Another 16 sqm of slate has been positioned in to its final resting place. I'll let it settle for a week or so and then begin concreting all the gaps. It looks pretty good, but more importantly the customer loves it. The slate has a lot of variation in color and some which just perfect for this type of paving.

23.01.2022 From grime to shine in no time. Lots of elbow work with a stiff broom helped by a few splashes of the appropriate detergent and pressure wash.

22.01.2022 Got started on concreting between the slate today. Its a fiddly job and time consuming, but I think the results so far are pretty good. A small garden bed is going to be on the right side, against the house, and stones to fill the gap along the fence which should soften the edges of the path.

20.01.2022 Hours of work sanding, filling, undercoating and then the final coat of paint looks great..with..suicidal bugs in it . AAARR!!

14.01.2022 Hot and cold pipe work and waste water pipe work all in, thanks to the quick work of Matt Sheahan Plumbing. Now I can put the new floor down an start walls. My Xmas project.

13.01.2022 Progress with the new bathroom, powder room and galley pantry. Timber framing, cavity sliding door frames and door opening to kitchen all complete. Shower and toilet niches are in place along with the mirrored wall unit. Completely covered floor with tile underlay. Plaster will start going up on Monday. Things are going pretty good.

12.01.2022 Kitchen bench top transformation with NO expensive new laminate bench top required. A bit of prep work, base coat, decorative color chips, and give it a little time to dry. Then paint on the protective top coat and you have a brand new modern finish to a tired out dated kitchen bench top. Not to shabby.....what do you think?

10.01.2022 Let the crazy begin. Just starting to crazy pave with some beautiful slate purchased from KCH. Watch this space.

09.01.2022 The prefect vertical garden for your home or office. Just show me where you want it and I'll custom make it to fit. I can make it out of new timber or old or with just about anything that can hold a plant.

09.01.2022 And so begins the transformation from a bedroom in a separate bathroom, powder room and galley pantry. Pull out a couple of hundred nails left from the floor boards and I can call in the plumber on Monday.

08.01.2022 Installed a new ceiling vent for an evaporative air conditioner. Cleaned and checked the water pump and fan belt. All ready for summer.

07.01.2022 Now there are walls. Things are moving along. Next the waterproofing and then.....

07.01.2022 The slate crazy paving is in place from the laundry door to the clothes line. Starting to make way along the fence, around the tree and then across the back of the house. 14 square metres down and another 14 plus to go..

02.01.2022 This small curved path way connecting the drive way to the new step in front of the veranda has created a great new look and focal point. Medium sized dark grey pavers which match the grey veranda tiles. Then surrounded the pavers with a small crushed white stone with hints of grey and brown, which contrasts beautifully.
