03.01.2022 *CHURCH CANCELLED* Hey Church, As you may have heard by now, we will be commencing full lockdown as of 6pm Sunday tonight till Friday 6pm next week. As a result, effective immediately, we will be cancelling our physical church gathering this week (31/01/21) and encourage all our church members to comply with government instructions and practice social distancing and to stay at home for the next five days. ... With this said, we understand that this will come as a shock to many people and as a church we want to ensure our people are safe and looked after through the coming week. If any of our church members or anyone you know require assistance throughout the next five days, whether it be a person to talk to, or supplies dropped off, our team will be ready to assist and help where practically safe according to government instructions. While this news may be alarming, we as a church still trust in God’s hand over the situation and pray collectively for our health officials and government to guide and govern over us in the best way possible. So, as we remain at home over the next few days, let’s join together with many other Christians to pray over our state and those severely affected by this news. May we continue to trust in God and look forward to what He has planned at the end of this. God bless you church and stay safe, Oikos Church
