21.01.2022 WELLERS IN ISO CHALLENGE Every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday we will be posting a wellers challenge. It’s super simple - film yourself completing the challenge, upload it to your story and tag @oldcamberwellfc with the hashtag #wellersinisochallenge. Every time you post a challenge, you earn points for your team (this will be the team that you played in during your last game- if you’re unsure, shoot us a message). 10.01.2022 Welcome to the biggest fundraising and membership campaign Old Camberwell has ever seen: THE FUTURE FOOTY FESTIVAL! We're calling on our all supporters, past players, coaches, committee members and anyone with a connection for support so that we can maintain the necessary facilities, infrastructure and people to continue to provide the best resources possible for our club.... How can you get involved? By becoming a member of our football club, you will be assisting us in reaching our fundraising goal of $30,000, all of which will be used to provide the necessities required to ensure the club can continue to run. Donations can either be made through the ASF website, or directly into the Old Camberwell bank account. PLEASE NOTE - All donations made through the ASF website are tax deductable. This will not be possible for donations made directly to the bank account. In order to get the club through the COVID 19 pandemic and to set us up for a strong future, we are launching the club’s biggest ever fundraising campaign. The Future Footy Festival is a celebration of everything that is the Old Camberwell Grammarians’ Amateur Football Club. We are asking all supporters, past players, coaches, committee members and anyone with a connection to support your club. Our community is important to so many and we need to maintain the necessary facilities, infrastructure and people to continue to provide the best resources possible. 01.01.2022 To the incredible OCGAFC community, These are unprecedented times. The health and safety of our players, coaches, staff, supporters and members is paramount and we extend our thoughts to all parts of our community, hoping everyone is coping as best they can under the circumstances. Today, due to the increasing spread of COVID-19 across Victoria and Australia, the VAFA has made the decision to postpone the start of the 2020 season until May 2nd. The VAFA will meet again on Ap...ril 14th to assess the latest health advice and act accordingly. With immediate effect, all training and practice matches will cease and all planned events including the Season Launch and Football Planning Day will be postponed until further notice. This is tough news for our sensational coaches, players and administrators given the huge amount of work that has gone into the upcoming season so far. It is also a decision the Club supports 100% given the current situation and the unknown health impacts it represents. I want to be as clear and direct as possible that we are obligated to endorse and support these measures and whatever else comes next to the best of all our abilities. Our community needs to be part of a broader set of actions that will ultimately protect society.
