24.01.2022 Oldfields Scaffolding St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Subiaco, WA St Joseph’s Catholic church is a classic example of inter-war Gothic style architecture, and the scaffolding currently adorning the northern façade is a classic example of Oldfields' excellence. Opened in 1934, St Joseph’s is now in need of remediation works to both the external façades and windows.... Forward-thinking Parishioners created a register of all past works and then engaged heritage engineers and architects to formulate a plan to restore their beloved church in four phases. The first phase is the northern façade, shown in these aerial images. Oldfields’ systems scaffold, erected by our expert team of scaffolders, is the right choice for sensitive and heritage sites. 16.01.2022 NSW job of the month - It’s no surprise with the recent wild weather, Oldfields Scaffolding was engaged to erect an emergency ‘make safe’ for a local insurance builder. The building’s roof was partially blown off during a storm. Our client called at 2pm in the afternoon asking could we help out. They needed scaffolding on site as soon as possible to gain access to the roof area to inspect and weather-proof the south-western corner of the building. The Oldfields team sprang ...into action and a crew of eight scaffolders and equipment were on site and ready for action by 10am the next morning. Great work by our NSW team! See more

Plywood hoarding was then fitted between the rail platform, lower linkway, and scaffolding structure as an additional safety measure.
