The project will assist Clubs to make tangible improvements and opportunities for women & girls, with the aim of achieving 50/50 representation. OISC is therefore seeking our very own Change Maker to participate in the project, who will be guided to create tailored, practical and sustainable solutions to drive participation and improve expe...riences for women and girls. 16.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT - JUNIOR TRAINING Given the recent updates regarding the latest COVID cluster, the OISC Committee has taken the decision to cancel junior training tonight. The proximity to the cluster and an ever expanding list of at-risk sites means we must err on the side of caution. A further update regarding fixtures due to be played at the weekend will be provided as the week progresses.... A reminder to everyone to test if they have any symptoms or have visited a risk site. Very well done to our Under 16 team away against Glen Eira Junior Soccer Club in a battle between 3rd & 4th on the table. 2-0 up at half time and cruising, but the home team started the second half strong and pulled the score back to 2-2. A penalty for OISC made it 2-3. Then Glen Eira are awarded a penalty, which saw a second yellow & OISC down to 10 players! The penalty was missed and all hands to the pump in a resilient defensive display for a tense la...st 15 minutes! Elation at the final whistle....wow! More score results to follow. #TogetherStronger

10.01.2022 Prior to the current lockdown, we were fortunate to have Graham Evans (OISC Coaching Coordinator) of Strike Sports run a free 4-day clinic enjoyed by 45 of our club players. It was a fantastic opportunity for our players to receive expert coaching and of course have some fun! 06.01.2022 Due to the Victorian State Government's announcement this morning regarding the return of Stage 4 lockdown restrictions for 7 days in Melbourne, all soccer-related activities will be suspended from 11:59pm tonight (Thursday 27th of May) until further notice. The OISC Committee will provide updates regarding the resumption of competitions as they are communicated to us from Football Victoria. Hopefully, this is only temporary and we can all be back on the pitch at the end of ...next week. We thank you all for your ongoing support and patience during this time. The priority of course is for everyone to stay healthy and safe. #TogetherStronger
