24.01.2022 Oliver Kelly Construction had a successful night at the MBA awards last month taking home two awards. The Martin Residence in Hawley won the New Dwelling over $1 million. This project was a once in a life time build on the North West Coast of Tasmania and we couldnt be happier with the results. A big thank you goes to all Employees, Subcontractors & Suppliers who worked on this project. This result wouldnt of been achieved without the excellent work you all put in. We also received the Residential Builder of the Year Award. We are extremely proud to achieve this award and look forward to building many more residential properties in the future. 04.01.2022 Our WA team recently completed this NBN Tower in Dwellingup. This particular site was constructed in Winter in an area with high rainfall, with majority of the construction being completed in between heavy showers. 100 Tonnes of material had to be brought in to level out the 15 degree slope for the tower, crane pad and also to upgrade the entrance to allow crane access. Despite the weather and access constraints, the job finished with little delay. We would like to thank the hard working team who took on this job: Janson, Adrian and Kyle. This is just one of the many Towers our Mainland crews work on throughout the year. We are extremely proud of the high quality of work they consistently produce.

02.01.2022 Applications for 2018 Carpentry Apprenticeships are now open!

01.01.2022 Oliver Kelly have recently started works at Ulverstone High School for the new Grade 11 and 12 Classroom, using Nail Laminated Timber Cassettes in the structural floor design and Glue Laminated Timber Cassettes for the construction of various walls throughout the building. Both of these have been designed by Philp Lighton Architects and this is one of the first buildings in Tasmania to be constructed almost entirely out of Nail and Glue Laminated Timber of this design. One of the the benefits of using this design is to reduce the carbon footprint of the building as timber has a much lower carbon footprint than Steel or Concrete. This is going to be an outstanding looking building so we will keep more photos coming through as it takes shape!

01.01.2022 Nathan and his crew are busy completing a 4 Stage Redevelopment at Meercroft Care in Devonport. As Stage 1 at Meercroft is nearly finished the guys have made a good start on Stage 2. Stay tuned for some finished photos of Stage 1.
