25.01.2022 Rare pink dolphins are returning to Hong Kong! Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins (pink dolphins) had been avoiding the Pearl River Delta because of high-speed ferries traveling between Hong Kong and Macau. Now they are returning due to Covid-19 restrictions. Read more about what Sea Shepherd is doing to protect our marine wildlife worldwide at seashepherd.org

24.01.2022 Facebook Australia has partnered with #NAIDOC to launch new tools and initiatives to celebrate Indigenous people, stories, and businesses for NAIDOC Week 2020. ... Starting 8th November across Facebook and Instagram, Australians will be empowered to connect with this year’s #AlwaysWasAlwaysWillBe theme and with Indigenous-designed tools, creators, and businesses. Exclusively in Australia, Instagram will launch three new Instagram Stories stickers designed by Tyrown Waigana, the Noongar and Saibai Islander artist behind this year’s #naidocweek2020 poster. When you create an Instagram Story, you’ll see the three #NAIDOCWeek stickers at the top of your Stories tray (where you find other stickers and tools like Giphy).

18.01.2022 The Story of a Spoon charts the story of a plastic spoon, from the Big Bang to the Bin Bag, and aims to raise awareness of the effects of over-consumption in our society. This video is an appeal for people to take a moment to think about how the stuff we buy came into existence, and what happens to that stuff when we no longer have use for it. https://youtu.be/eg-E1FtjaxY

09.01.2022 Wow Did you know?
08.01.2022 Loving the days getting longer Who else is hanging out for summer?
08.01.2022 These endangered great apes need you. Since the 1950's, orangutan numbers have halved. Young orangutans are being snatched from the wild for the illegal pet trade, and their mothers often killed to fuel the illegal wildlife trade. By adopting an orangutan today, you could help WWF fund patrols to monitor orangutan populations, enforce restrictions on the trade in live animals and orangutan products, and protect and restore vital orangutan habitats - protecting them for the long-term.
07.01.2022 Have you seen any?

01.01.2022 It’s scary (or wonderful!?) to think that this year is nearly over. This Christmas, we have a favour to ask: please consider buying local and supporting Aussie ...businesses that have done it tough in 2020. A Zoos Victoria Membership is a great gift for anyone looking to spend a bit less time at home and a little more time outside with nature in 2021. It’s for children, adults and most importantly, it’s for wildlife. Not only will your loved one have a ticket to the zoo they can use every day, but we’ll be able to use this money to make sure our conservation work doesn’t stop. Buy here: https://bit.ly/3eBUHmt
