25.01.2022 Remember it is Faction Fun Day today. Students wear their faction shirts with their sports uniform. Lapping Legends will be extended until 9.00am today. Parents are welcome to come and run or walk a few laps, too. Extra helpers will be needed to record laps. What a great way to start our last day of Term 3!

25.01.2022 The Year 2s have had lots of fun this term learning about mixtures. We made oobleck and flubber, to investigate the properties of different mixtures. We learned that not all substances mix, and created some beautiful marble prints using oil based paints. We also examined separating mixtures and used chromatography to solve a crime!

Our students have been rehearsing and are excited about their concert next Friday evening 4th December at 5.30pm on the school oval. Students wear their sports shorts and sports shoes, a red green or white Christmas t-shirt and Christmas accessories. Get your picnic rugs ready and be prepared for a wonderful evening. We appreciate the support from Bunbury Catholic College, who are assisting us with sound equipment for the night.
21.01.2022 MY 50TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION - Next Sunday Afternoon (3 Jan) !!!!! I'm just sharing this again for one last time, for any friends who may not have seen it and who would like to come.... All my friends - from near or far ... from recent times or years ago - are very welcome If you can bring a plate of "finger food" to share for afternoon tea, that would be great ... but not required! And finally ... If you are coming, it would be VERY helpful if you could open this invitation link and click "GOING" ... or leave a reply below to say you are coming. Thanks everyone ... I can't wait to see you all Fr Wayne. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10157941879868473&id=580108472

18.01.2022 During Term 4, the Year 2 students have been learning about the artist Vincent Van Gogh and have created their own interpretation of Van Gogh's Starry Night creation. The students experimented with 3 different shades of colours that complimented one another. They also explored the movement featured in the original Starry Night artwork through the use of lines and shapes. So wonderful to see such creativity and imagination!

17.01.2022 Year 3’s began working on their inquiry projects today. They began the process by deciding what they were interested in learning and brainstorming what exactly they wanted to learn. They created a rubric together to determine what each student needed to include to achieve the best mark. They even learnt the importance of a bibliography. There are many different topics. Some inquiry questions include: How does climate change affect the world? How many people had to help to make the pyramids? How are emotions are made in your body? How is an opal created? Why does a duck quack? and Is there more than one galaxy? It was a very quiet classroom this afternoon as everyone was busy researching something they wanted to know!

14.01.2022 Our last stop before heading back home was at the Fremantle Prison. Those who had a birthday this week were treated to being locked up in solitary confinement. Today’s birthday girl was also flagellated in celebration. It’s been a long few days (and sleepless nights) but we decided that everyone had been so good that they could be released from prison. We are now back on the bus ready to come home, excited to see our parents and our beds.
