23.01.2022 Experience: A day at the beach listening to the sound of waves crashing against the shore and the abundance of natural resources available to create the perfect sandcastle. Can you write your name in the sand? Can you use a stick to track your path? How big will your sandcastle be?... Mrs Barrientos and Ms Charlesworth found 4 different natural resources to decorate their sand castle, what will you find? What do you like to do at the beach? Is it best to build your sand castle with wet or dry sand, why? What makes the best sandcastle? We are learning about texture, and sorting. We are being creative and making something unique. I learn at my own pace and direct my own play through the open-ended nature of sand. We are experiencing the calmness that our natural environment can have on our wellbeing.

21.01.2022 The Autumn season is a wonderful time for collecting beautifully shaped leaves, sticks, tree seeds, and discovering mud and puddles. Despite being a lot colder and windier, the colours of Autumn can be truly unique and inspire the creative artist in each of us. Are you able to go on a hunt for some exciting finds of nature around your home, what will you make? Do you like to find leaves on your walk and crunch them under your shoe? Can you stand under a tree and catch the le...aves that fall before they hit the ground? Can you find a big puddle of water and jump in it so that the splashes reach up to your knees? Experience: Engaging with the beauty of the natural world around us. Learning Intention: We are learning to be creative with our thinking and imaginative with natural resources. We are learning about the changes that occur when the season changes from summer to autumn.

19.01.2022 Thank you for your patience as Ms Wyllie-Charlesworth and Mrs Barrientos begin their journey of delivering some online experiences to you, our amazing Little Treasures! We will get better at this, but for now, thank you so very much for your continued support. Perhaps you could suggest some Learning Intentions for our video... at the minute were thinking: "we are learning to use social media to share our passion for early years learning." ... Or "We are learning to use social media to connect with the little people that we are missing very, very much." Or "We are using social media to live out Mrs Barrientos life-long dream of being an instant hit on social media.." See more

18.01.2022 Sorry to interupt your Easter holiday our Little Treasures but... Oh my goodness look at what has happened all whilst Ms Charlesworth was off swimming! Mrs Barrientos has been imagining and exploring our learning space and has decided that her car is a sports car that can go really fast!! Oh my, this has us thinking now Will your car be one that suits the family, all their children, and all their needs for a trip to the park? Will your car be one that suits a person who likes to drive alone, really fast, and then go shopping in the mall? Will your car be one that flies through clouds and gets its energy from the sun? Or. Will your car be able to drive on land and under the sea, with . ?? We absolutely love and treasure our imaginations. Knowing that we can use these to take us anywhere, anytime is completely reassuring and super exciting. We also know that you, our amazing Little Treasures are also completely equipped with amazing brains and imaginations too, this makes us feel very happy!
