24.01.2022 No matter the day, the location, the level of tired, holidays or birthday week. Just. Do. It. Was a bit flat this morning but a workout & caffeine soon fixed it! Nothing crazy just keep going to the next to the next to the next. Warm up x 5 rounds:... Assault Bike 30s, & 10 push ups Then: X 3 12kg med ball throw over 16kg KB swings 10kg DB fit ball sit up to press 5kg RTW 10kg DB clean & press Ab roller 12kg KB one arm swings 12 kg KB Standing side crunch Handstand!! No rest. Just keep moving. Who's doing it??!!

24.01.2022 Saturday. Gave myself the day off today. No reason. The sun came up. Off training. Off achieving. Off pushing. Off counting. Off the shoulds, the lists, the guilt trips. This is really REALLY hard for me, & I know I'm not alone, without feeling incredibly guilty that I've done nothing all day! & then there's the trying to 'make up for it tomorrow' that inevitably comes. ... Who out there feels this too? So I turned off my alarm . Woke up when my body told me . Flowed through a short practice, meditation & sound bath . Pottered around & prepped for the week ahead. Thought about Xmas day recipe ingredients & flavours to treat my mum. Read my book, drank tea & floated in the pool . Now..? I'm having a beer. in a wine glass. 'cos it tastes better. Without feeling guilty! Yay me. Do you give yourself prescribed downtime? Do you allow yourself to stop? Do you listen when your body aches? When your brain hurts? When your gut churns & your heart cries? Your body tells you when it's had enough. It's an amazing machine that we must listen to much more. So. Just. Stop. Listen. 21.01.2022 I was hoping to catch the full moon rise over the ocean tonight. Alas, too cloudy. But I believe you could feel her , she was just a little shy, hiding. I still had to jump in, the magnetic draw of the ocean is too strong to ignore. The sky was epic. The clouds in every direction, dark, foreboding, ominous.
