19.01.2022 Lambing is still ticking away here at Omega. The AI lambs are all finished and are happily down the paddock with their mums getting fat. Now we just have the ewes who didn’t go to AI and the few that didn’t take to go. This little fella was born yesterday and what a fine little ram he is

18.01.2022 Extremely happy with the scanning results for the Southdown lambs yesterday. This is a picture of our top ewe lambs scan. She weighed in at 60kg and had an eye muscle depth of 35mm. Our top ram weighed in at 60.5kg and had an eye muscle depth of 36mm. Look out show ring here we come

08.01.2022 Ewes scanning all done for this year and we are very excited for lambing with only one ewe empty and a 90% AI rate . A big thanks to Andrew at Camscan for letting all the kids help with the spray paint.

07.01.2022 First AI sire for the 2020 lambing is Yentrac 485- 15. This guy sired rams in Yentrac winning show team at last years Bendigo sheep and wool show as well as had semen exported to the USA.
