09.01.2022 MORE ABOUT OUR RETREAT TO NEPAL ! On my trip to India last year I was introduced to Varuna who is a lawyer , teacher and founder of KYOGIWELLNESS . I am filled with gratitude that the Universe led me to her because we are now sharing our passion for wellness and mindfulness by taking a retreat together to Nepal that will be a unique , exclusive experience filled with love . So, here’s a snapshot of this incredible woman, she is now my soul sister who believes in the intrin...sic power of breath and holistic wellbeing . Varuna started practice at the age of 3 in Asana and yoga nidra at the Yoga Cure Institute in Kolkata. She did her 200hour RYT Yoga Alliance International certification and also completed her MSc. In Yogic Sciences, a UGC certified masters in India. Completed her thread ceremony(yagnopavit) with Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji thereby learning how to perform the Sandhyavandanam ceremony and Gayatri mantra japa. Varuna then started her wellness company in India that works on spreading awareness on alternative medicine specially for women experiencing hormonal imbalances, menopause and holds space by hosting workshops on empowering women. She was given the privilege of learning how to perform the auspicious Gurupuja ceremony under the guidance of her teacher Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji which transforms any environment into one charged with posotivity and light. Varuna enjoys practising and teaching techniques from many ancient yogic texts such as the patanjalis yoga sutras and the Vigyan bhairava amongst others. The Creator of numerous DVDs for ailment based issues and writes for Men’s Health (India) Asia Spa and the Telegraph .
