25.01.2022 Day 36 of 6 week challenge Overeating has been ingrained in us as a little child, finish all your meal, it’s a waste. I spent hours cooking. Today as we pract...ice portioning, put a plate with what would have been your typical portion sizing and trimmings before you started. Push the extra portions to the side of your plate. Then, eat the food which was only on your plan. If you are tempted to eat the extra food use some of the anti craving techniques you’ve learned. If you are tempted to overeat look back on the consequences we’ve discussed. Wait 10-20 did you see the food you only ate kept you full. Put the extra food in a left over container, freeze or throw it out. Give yourself credit for trying this experiment. Know that portion distortion will be around you forever. Restaurant last, gatherings. Practice dividing your plate immediately each time in these situations. See more

24.01.2022 Day 5 / 21 It’s fri-yay! It’s the end of the week and the start of the weekend. Many are presented with hunger this is the feeling that you have before your body gets into a mild form of ketosis.... Perfect time to exercise your resistance muscle and reaffirm your why goals, your affirmations, how you will combat your moments of thoughts of temptation. You will notice what will help with this task is adopting intermittent fasting. I.e eat within an 8 hour bracket /fast for 16. This allows your blood insulin levels to align and your body to burn fat stores. This is not mandatory during The 1:1 Diet simply a suggestion to adopt a lifestyle habit. Today’s task Set up a schedule alert reminder on your phone. For example meal 1 at 10:00am, meal 2 12:00pm meal 3 3:00 meal 4 6:00pm (no it doesn’t need to be at these times, it’s an example. Set alert reminders today to help you stay consistent routine thru the weekend. Whatever routine you have on the weekdays, set up alert reminders for the same pattern on the weekend. 19.01.2022 Week 1 done and dusted! by my 10 week count down to Christmas ambassador..over to you on how you tracked @irene_cwp Highs * Loads of energy and zero nana naps during the day.... * Discovered how thirsty I actually was, NOT hungry. * Meals all ready to go and super delicious * Zero night sweats * On day 3, I consumed all Step 2 products and was not hungry for my dinner so I didn’t have it I know right! Lows * Day 1 I had a slight headache and a little lightheaded. * A couple of times I craved carbs but short lived. I started on this program because I needed to lose weight due to feeling very uncomfortable physically and mentally. The important thing I have realised over time, was that things can turn very quickly in life and it is therefore imperative that we make changes and start looking after our physical and mental health. That's Saturday nights dinner sorted Step 3 and above ... 400 Kcals/portion Serves 4 You'll need: 100g salted/cool tortilla chips 100g grated reduced-fat cheese A handful of coriander, chopped 3 chillies 4 black olives, thinly sliced 4 tbsp 0% fat Greek yoghurt 1 onion, finely chopped 2 garlic cloves, crushed 1 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1 tsp ground coriander 300g extra lean minced beef (5% fat max) 2 tbsp tomato paste 1 x 400g can chopped tomatoes 1 x 200g can red kidney beans 300ml beef stock Spray oil Salt Black pepper Method: 1 Lightly spray a saucepan with oil and set over a low to medium heat. Cook the onion and garlic for 810 mins, stirring occasionally, until tender. Add the chilli and ground spices and cook for 1 min. 2 Add the minced beef and cook for 45 mins, stirring, until browned. Stir in the tomato paste, canned tomatoes, kidney beans and stock, and bring to the boil. 3 Reduce the heat and simmer gently for 1520 mins until everything is cooked and the sauce has reduced to a thick consistency. Season to taste with salt and pepper. 4 Heat an overhead grill on the highest setting. Spread out the tortilla chips on a baking tray and sprinkle with three-quarters of the grated Cheddar. Spoon the spicy beef chilli over the top, leaving gaps to expose some of the tortilla chips. Sprinkle with sliced chilli, black olives and the rest of the cheese. 5 Cook under the hot grill for about 5 mins until the cheese is melting, golden and bubbling. Reality is, yes, you haven’t given up on your health. Remember to keep affirming to yourself the achievements to help break the cycle. When our mind plays these games of if it’s enough self sabotage presents itself. The feeling is overwhelming the taste of temptation overrides the actual feeling of hunger.... Even if you are not tempted to overeat today you will be faced with these trigger situations many times during your journey. Today practice no over eating. How to ensure you don’t over eat. Task - Open up your steps program book, - get out scales and weigh what you are to eat. - This reseats the mind of how much you should eat rather than what your mind thinks you are entitled to eat.
