24.01.2022 Tonight Ryan and I got to spend some special time with our team on Zoom discussing our memories from KL, what our team culture and bond means to all of us and how much we want to continue that legacy and journey. I wish every young Australian kid one day gets to experience what this team feels. It’s a special group who Ryan and I are enormously proud. Ryan and I were also presented with two beautifully framed bibs and pics from the team which we are so grateful. Jacinta, Pat, Josh, Nick, Joel & Sade thank you! Let’s go

20.01.2022 A number of our water ski friends have contacted us regarding the federations stance regarding upcoming major events including World & National Championships here in Australia. Waterski and Wakeboard Australia are continuing to monitor the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and consulting with various Government Agencies. WAWA will hold a board meeting next Tuesday evening to discuss WAWA’s position in consideration of our members wellbeing. An official statement will b...e sent to members on Wednesday in relation to future water ski and wakeboard events in the upcoming months. Please take all necessary precautions to stay healthy, and we encourage you to seek relevant information regarding the virus from trustworthy sources such as health organisation and Government websites. A similar statement will be placed on the federations official Facebook page tonight. See more

07.01.2022 The bond between our Australian & Canadians athletes has always been close. Very close. None more than through the 90’s when this super star and great mate was at the top of his game. You were simply awesome Kreggy and you had no peer. None. As we all struggle to come to terms with your loss I’m going to ask your mates to give us their great Kreggy stories. To which there are many. Makes us laugh not cry. Make us smile and bring us the memories again we cherish and wa...nt to hear again. The legend. I’m sure Shooter will elaborate on the story when you invited him to come ski and live with you for the summer. Problem was when Shoots and Gatts turned up you’d forgotten . 06.01.2022 Stafford & Sharyn.... where do we start? Your dedication and contribution to our sport over the past 30+ years has very few peers. The time, energy & commitment you gave was absolutley extraordinary. Today after 11 years Stafford stepped down as Chairman of Tournament Water Ski Australia and Sharyn as secretary to spend more time with their beautiful families. You have left our sport in place of envy to many and you should be enormously proud of what you have achieved & given... us. Thank you just doesn't seem enough. Behind every person in public life there is always a wife, husband, spouse, partner & family who are their rock of support. Antoinette & Steve we all know the contribution you and you families have made along with the amazing love and support you have given Stafford & Sharyn in their crazy love jobs...ha ha.
