24.01.2022 Christmas Project Our Infant One Children have been super busy as they have officially begun creating their special Christmas paintings for our friends at McGregor Gardens Aged Care. Each room will be creating something special to send to our friends as we absolutely love spreading the Christmas spirit within our community. It is so very important that we all reach out and check in on others.



22.01.2022 Experimenting with poms poms and tweezers with our toddlers today. Through this activity the children are able to further extend on their fine motor skill development and maths concepts as they engage in counting alongside the educator. 16.01.2022 Halloween with the Toddlers Today our Toddler room participated in a range of fantastic and fun Halloween activities. The children partook in a Science experience using a calved pumpkin filled with Bicarb-soda, food dye and Vinegar. The children watched on excitedly for the chemical reaction. Waking from their nap the Toddlers were surprised to find their cubby house decorated in all things Halloween.

16.01.2022 Learning the time Our Kindergartners have been exploring telling time, using play clocks throughout the last couple of weeks. Today we extended this by exploring our numbers using the clock faces. Our Children were encouraged to copy the numbers of the clock face, onto the clock faces that they had drawn. 15.01.2022 Little Helpers Today’s sunshine made for the perfect weather for our Toddler Children to help their educators wash the rooms baby dolls and their clothes. The Toddler Children were so very eager to help wash their resources as well as hanging them up onto a small clothesline within their yard. ... Each of the Children took turns at using the small pegs to hang the clothes up for drying. This activity encouraged the Children to reflect and develop their Self-Help, Social, Cognitive, Fine Motor and Gross Motor Developmental Skills. Thank you for your help Toddlers, your babies are wonderfully clean and ready for tomorrow’s play.

13.01.2022 Fun Filled Friday Our Children had a great day as they dressed up and played with fun activities such as ‘Create a Face Play-dough’ and ofcourse exploring the Decorated Cubby House in the Toddlers yard. Our Educators were also surprised again by some beautiful and generous families who provided the team with a range of treats for morning tea. ... 12.01.2022 Today in our toddler 2 room we worked collaboratively to complete a range of puzzles. Puzzles are amazing to extend on cognitive development, fine motor skills and hand eye coordination as they use their hands and fingers to manipulate the pieces into the correct slots. 11.01.2022 Today our toddler 1 children engaged in imaginative play, they used dress ups to extend on their imagination and creative development. 11.01.2022 Diya Making with the Kinders Our Kindergarten children have commenced their Diwali celebrations by starting to make the traditional light lamp (Diya) with clay. The children were so very excited to mould their clay in certain shapes based upon their own imaginations, making their individual Diya’s unique. 08.01.2022 Today our Pre- Kinder One & Two Children participated in a group time together. The Children have demonstrated interest in learning Auslan. With the help of Toddlers Educator Hayley, the Children focused on their first letters. We look forward to being able to complete the Alphabet in no time Well done Pre-Kinders and thank you educator Hayley for taking to time to further develop the children’s interest in such a wonderful way of communication.

08.01.2022 ~ Diwali Celebrations ~ Today our Toddler, Pre-Kinders and Kindergarten Children all took turns in helping Educator Dipti create a beautiful Rangoli art within our foyer. Rangoli is an art form in which patterns are created on the ground. The purpose of Rangoli is to feel strength, generosity and it is thought to bring good luck!... This was such a special activity for all and we cannot thank Educator Dipti enough for sharing such a wonderful experience with all of the children and fellow educators.

07.01.2022 Infant Two Sensory Experience Today our Infant Two children engaged in a sensory shaving foam experience with the loofahs along with some coloured paint. The children were fully engaged in the activities as they swirled the foam around and made patterns with their fingers. Our children absolutely loved the feel of the foam as they squished it between their hands.

02.01.2022 Today our Pre-Kinder One Children started their emotions activity in the emotions area. The children looked at themselves in the mirror and then began drawing their facial expressions that they could see in the mirrors reflection.
