03.02.2022 Dear customers, we are happy to announce that on Friday we are re-opening to sit down customers!! We will be complying with government rules, so there is a 10 person limit (including children) and tables are spaced to maintain social distancing. There will be hand sanitizer at the door and we encourage its use.... Lastly, we care about all of our customers wellbeing, so if you're feeling unwell please stay at home. Please call 9958 5059 to book a table or order take-away.

25.01.2022 One Earth Cafe has had to close again due to the accident yesterday. Our chef is in need of more time to recover. We apologise for the second unexpected closure!

24.01.2022 Happy 2017 everyone! May peace be with all people in the coming year. One Earth Cafe will re-open on Friday the 6th of January, at 8am. Apologies for the delay in announcing our holiday closure. The owners, Jenny and Peter are enjoying a well earned break and undertaking a number of projects. ... We will soon be cooking and baking up a storm in preparation of our re-opening! A new year is a good time to reflect on our nearly 22 years of business. The cafe has changed over the years, but our commitment to high-quality, plant based foods has not wavered. We continue to cook and prepare all food on site, from recipes we have honed for many years. This level of control allows us to be aware of the allergens and animal products in our food. Further, this ultimately allows us to remove ingredients from a number of dishes to cater to many concerns. If you have questions about ingredients due to allergy, sensitivity, or personal dietary decisions, please send us a message and options can be discussed.

24.01.2022 The cafe will be opening until 4:30pm for the election and closed to evening trade. We love watching the election coverage and with such a nail-biter, we have decided to close in the evening. We'll be open as normal for Sunday trading. ... As the old joke goes: Vote early and vote often!

22.01.2022 On ANZAC Day we will be remembering Leslie Suitor, grandfather and great grandfather - a strapper of the First Lighthorse Brigade. He landed in Gallipoli and served in France and Egypt over four and half years. He re-enlisted for the second World War and survived to return home to Tasmania. We honour a fine horseman and his memory will live on through us.

14.01.2022 Announcement: One Earth Cafe will no longer be open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. We want to say thank you to all our lovely dinner customers, we have enjoyed seeing you all (old and new!).... However, we are closing to dinner trade to allow us to concentrate on daytime projects. We will soon be integrating parts of the nighttime menu into the daytime! Thank you again, for all of your support over the last 9 months. We have a new dinner menu that has a modern vegetarian and vegan focus, with options for omnivores. We will be open 8am - until late on both of these nights. Bookings are welcome and we are BYO.
