25.01.2022 Welcome to day 13 of Broulee Psychologys two weeks of coping strategies. Just a heads up that we only have ONE MORE DAY OF COPING STRATEGIES and I have so man...y more to share so we will be continuing for another week Im having too much fun finding the memes to go with these posts and sharing these amazing skills with you. Now todays meme is not funny (sorry!) but the message is powerful. Its all about problem solving and it follows on from yesterdays discussion about what we can and cannot control. Problem solving is about making a decision about what action we want to take in the face of a situation. We all have bumps in the road - COVID19 is a pretty major bump in the world! The strategy is deciding how we respond to this situation. So your options on - do nothing and remain miserable (unless you are enjoying the current situation but I guess you wouldnt be considering problem solving if you were happy with your current situation). You could tolerate the problem, accept its presence and move on with your life as best you can. You could also find ways to feel better about the problem - think coping strategies people . Or if possible, you could solve the problem - think vaccination or eradication. Now I dont know about you but I dont like being miserable and I also dont have the scientific knowledge for creating a vaccination so those two options are out. For me, I am practicing accepting the current situation (the topic of a future coping strategy post) and finding ways to feel better about the problem (see all the previous coping strategies). So what are you going to do to handle the current global pandemic? Will you be doing nothing and staying miserable (I hope not!), will you be implementing some of the coping strategies youve been learning (please do!) or will you be the superhuman who creates a vaccination for us? Maybe lets aim for implementing some coping strategies to start. Keep following Broulee Psychologys Facebook page for another week of coping strategies. 25.01.2022 Hi Onelifers We have extended opening hours where we can with staff availability as this may go for a couple of weeks or a couple of years we just dont know so it needs to be sustainable. If you only have access outside of manned hours please give us a call to discuss your options

Please do not attend the gym if you have visited the RSL from mon to fri as advertised.... Any flu like symptoms please do not enter! 17.01.2022 First I apologise for the hourly changes but as some of our Instructors and staff get notifications from sporting and social outings over the weekend we need to change and evolve. We will endevour to keep all Group Fitness classes going ( except bike) and if we cannot find an instructor a virtual class will be put on in its place.
